Elthelene’s Husband totally lives for when her sisters and brother snark back at her or do something that otherwise makes it clear she was being rude to them or say something that puts her in her place and remind her that she doesn’t have control over their lives.

(It was an arranged marriage and he totally thinks she needs to lighten up and be less uptight and rule strict and more compassionate to her siblings.)

Eille: (high pitched because I am confused about the question and have no idea for the answer) Yes?

Elthelene’s Lover: (lower, more sure about the character but still confused about the question) yes

2. do they do things that conform to the norm?

Egari: Yes, she’s very concerned with behaving, and part of that is conforming to the norm.

Elthelene’s Husband: To a point, but he’s also in a relatively secure position and can get away with balking trends if he feels like it and it’s not too big a transgression.

3. do they follow trends or do their own thing?

Ellele: I think somewhere in the middle?

Elthen: Pretty sure he wasn’t really aware of them.

4. are they up-to-date on the internet fads?

They don’t have the internet so … popular fads or something, but it doesn’t really matter because neither of the characters are the type to follow or be up to date on anything so. Yeah. No.

5. do they portray their personality intentionally or let people figure it out on their own?

Elthelene: She is very much soft interior of pain and grief and hard outer shell of cold that is detached and impersonal. And she would rather people don’t poke past it.

Shifting Constellations Intro:

Elthelene kept her tight coils cut short, short enough it did not cover her ears in the slightest and required no daily maintenance. Her no-nonsense stare extended to the deliberate way she stepped from the carriage and the lack of volume in her thin, knee-length skirt kept it from catching on things or getting in the way.

Personality:

Elthelene is prim and proper and uptight. She keeps her emotions under tight control and refuses to let others see any weakness in her. The pressure to be perfect growing up greatly affected her, and then following the death of her lover during the war, ascending the throne, then being forced into an arranged marriage pushed her even further from showing the soft kindness she was never allowed to.

1. What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

I want to say he tends to not be too good at just sitting around with nothing to do, but he was a guard student, so he had to learn how to do it. So probably about average.

2. How easy is it for your character to laugh?

He didn’t laugh that much, but when around Elthelene he laughed easily.

3. How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

Generally just going to sleep.

4. How easy is it to earn their trust?

Hard.

5. How easy is it to earn their mistrust?

Not hard at all.

6. Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?

Immovable. He was pretty low ranking, like he only went to the academy because his father was a guard who came up through the armies.

Nothing really. He wasn’t really old enough for that. Then he died.

To behave.

Yeah, probably.

The most frequent lie was probably about his background and status, pretending to be higher class than he actually was.
