As a solo dirtbike wanderer, there is always the possibility of being broken down and/or worse injured while riding deep in the back country. This is when having the proper survival training and tools of the trade could save my life or limb. I am now becoming the #dirtbikesurvivorman. My #SamuraiItchiban #handsaw finally arrived along with my #emergencyBivy and fire starter tools. With these tools, I will exponentially increase the likelihood of surviving a freezing cold winter night with a minor injury. If I am unsure of my survival or have the possibility of loosing a limb, I will use the #acrresqlink view #plb which will be arriving by mail soon. The ACR PLB send a distress call directly to #canadiansearchandrescue by using a 5watt #406mhz band that goes to three different sets of satellites. The first is #LEOSAR / #GROSAR set, 2nd set is #MEOSAR. The 3rd being #GPS using a 121.5MHz signal that #sar can use to pinpoint my exact location once in my vicinity. If your're not familer with a PLB, they have several advantages compared with the private #glonass #Inreach subscription network and subsequent gps emergency #sos devices. #keeponkeepinOn #keepatthemoto #superbikewanderer #kelownadirtbiketours #fireparty #wimhofcoldimmersion #okanaganlife #bccanada (at Kelowna, British Columbia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CItkE1CHnvg/?igshid=6tm2wvgawx39
