Hi Wanda!
@emiliakane
"Emilia," She smiles softly, "How have you been? Have you eaten recently?"
@emiliakane
You will not BELIEVE who just got an internship at the daily planet
(Spoilers it’s me)
@emiliakane
Hey, there! Welcome, welcome. You were the girl who emailed me before, right? Er... Emma? uh Emily?
*Clark smiled awkwardly and pushed up his glasses.*
I- I want to apologize for never reaching back out again and completely missing our meeting. This job can be a bit hectic sometimes, but it's important work.
@emiliakane liked this for a starter
"Hmm-- I don't know how to put it into words," Sebastián mused, sighing softly as he studied Emilia for a moment. It was, if anything, a relief to share with another trainee who was his age. Everyone else in the Avengers' Initiative was too old to relate to sometimes.
"Magic is... More like understanding the world is a software, so you both learn the language it's programmed with, and the commands to make the software perform different, off script tasks. But I'm rambling now, aren't I?"
The view sunset near Brooklyn was always her favorite spot in New York. The infamous bridge leading into Chinatown and Lower Manhattan. Perhaps it was the highest population in all of the boroughs, the fact she spent the most time in that area for her vigilante work, the never ending view of the Statue of Liberty the tourists can never get enough of… or perhaps it’s because, just maybe, she had a date tonight.
The purr of her motorcycle’s engine was a constant under her as she leaned back against it, waiting patiently near the spot Emilia said she’d meet her by. It was a Kawasaki ninja H2R, a few modifications added to it, but tonight she wasn’t using it for anything nefarious like her vigilante work as Gore. No. One motorcycle helmet sat in her lap, another rested next to her on the leather of the motorcycle seat.
She didn’t have much planned, she’s used to being the one that was surprised with the date activities most of the time, though that’s not to say she hasn’t had her fair share of initiation. Vanadee was many things, but one wasn’t a wallflower. But with Emilia she enjoyed doing something like this: picking up her girl, driving around the city, eating at a decent restaurant, perhaps she’d smuggle them up onto a rooftop high in the city to watch the stars without issues of pestering heroes nor villains..
Vanadee’s grey eyes lock onto the sight of the familiar short woman, smirking softly as she waved to her. “You said you’d be here 10 minutes ago.” She teases as she got up properly, walking the rest of the short way to Emilia- not far from her motorcycle. “Though this is New York…” she added in mock contemplation before grinning further.
“You ready?”

[an email from Emilia Kane]
Hello sir
I hope you’re doing well. I just wanted to say that I’m a journalism student and I absolutely love your work on heroes and superpower adjacent affairs. I would love to discuss with you at some point career and other superhero related things (just as a fan, totally not because I am one myself, that would be crazy)
Anyway! Would love to hear from you soon!
Regards,
Emilia

Hi Emilia, Thanks for reaching out- and for the kind words as well. It means so much to hear that my work has been useful to you, especially if you’re headed into journalism. It can be a tough field, but it’s a good one. I’m happy to talk career, reporting habits, and how to approach stories that involve public figures (including super-powered individuals). I should say up front, though: I’m not able to speak about anything non-public, and I’m careful about protecting sources and identities of those I work with now and have in the past. That’s not meant to sound mysterious, just… responsible. If you’re still interested, feel free to send over a few topics or questions you’d want to cover, and what your schedule looks like over the next week or two. We can set up a brief call or meet in a public place near the Planet when I’m not on a deadline. And for what it’s worth- being a “fan” is just fine. But don’t let it get in the way of being curious, thorough, and without bias. That’s what makes a great reporter. You got this! Best, Clark Kent Reporter, The Daily Planet
Hi trinket!!
@emiliakane
Trinkit shakes himself awake and rubs some sleep from his eyes and the corner of his mouth.
"Uh. Hello? Yes?"
