Quetzalcoatl’s weapon is an actual weapon that was used by the Aztecs (and other, older Mesoamerican peoples) called a Macuahuitl. Essentially a flat wooden club/paddle lined with obsidian blades, this weapon was basically the Mesoamerican answer to swords. This all said, Quetzalcoatl’s is somewhat stylized, as a real macuahuitl would have uniform blades (and often they’d be either evenly spaced for a serrated blade effect, or touching to form a singular edge), whereas Quetz’s macuahuitl is... uh, not like that.

Hey, I think your response to that anon was a really good way to put this. People have nothing left to lose, climate change is coming down and people get more organized. I think it's also very important that even the same letter of the acronym can have different experiences? A white gay cis man will never have the same experiences as a black gay cis man. Furthermore mental illness and disability can widen that gap even more.

i agree wholeheartedly. intersection allows for so many different experiences, it’d be ridiculous to say “well, the experiences here are different, so we don’t want to group people together”

if that’s the case, the acronym shouldn’t be LGBQ+T, it should be L+G+B+T+Q+ because wow to a certain extent i will personally know the experiences of a cis lesbian, an nb gay man, etc. if you want to say that it’s separate because of different experiences, you have to understand that there is no “universal LGBQ experience”
