Part 2:
Discovering the supernatural: Given the recent turn of events, Derek is having a difficult time coping with learning about the supernatural due to the recent uncover of his memory being altered and him being attacked by supernatural creatures. Due to his limited interactions other than learning about the original families surnames, Derek isn’t quite sure how to feel about hunters, shifters, or witches. He’s a bit more hesitant when it comes to vampires and werewolves since he was attacked by both species. But Derek is slowly learning to become more comfortable with werewolves due to the open nature he has with them in learning about the supernatural. The young man’s more cautious when it comes to vampires though, especially with the Bordeauxs. He finds it harder to connect with them. At this point, Derek has heard of the species, but he has not encountered all of them or have a very clear understanding about the supernatural world. He’s only learning the bare basics to protect himself and his family; other than that, the Calloway doesn’t want to dive in any deeper.
Thoughts about immortality? As of now, Derek wouldn’t choose immortality. To him, there isn’t much reason to. If all his friends die while only he remains, the Calloway thinks that it would just be a depressing way to live for the rest of his life. He isn’t sure how to go about it, but he doesn’t know
Opinions on magic? Derek doesn’t have much experience with magic given his growing understanding of the supernatural. That being said, as he slowly recollects his memories about what happened to him in the past, he has a hesitant view of the benefits of magic, knowing that a witch used magic to erase his memories.
Choosing another species: Given his minimal understanding of the supernatural in the moment, Derek would most likely choose being a werewolf, given his increased interaction with them. He has no idea what it would be like to be a witch or a shapeshifter, since he hasn’t witnessed either of them performing supernatural acts. And given his own reservations about vampires in general, Derek is least likely to want to be a vampire.

Industrial loft with high ceilings, very spacious. Has a very rustic ‘manly’ feel but has been made to be extremely comfortable with it’s soft lighting and accents. He prefers warmer tones and keeps a lot of wall art but not to the point of clutter and he likes to throw some weird rugs/patterns around to offset the wood and brick. Shelves are full of crime novels, boxes are full of notebooks full of scribblings of old cases.
