Can you do some headcanons of Camilo as a father/with pregnant reader?

- He would be ecstatic ! Camilo adored you so much and the thought of creating the fruit of love made him love you even more than he thought possible.

- He would not care much about the baby's gender, tho I can see him as being the best girl dad ever.

- As much as he hoped you would escape it, he had to help you through the morning sickness. Holding your hair back, rubbing soothing circles on your skin as patiently waited by your side.

- Of course Camilo becomes protective of you, even tho he knows Casita won't let anything within the walls and the village was fairly, he couldn't help it.

- Especially when the danger came from yourself. Your sweet, determined self. Once you tried to carry a vaguely heavy bag upstairs, you swore you never saw your husband rush to you so quickly. Don't scare him like that, amore !

- When the cravings came in, he wasn't ready. He loved you, but how could live with himself now that he made a sugary arepa, filled with chocolate and pineapple. Its the price you pay for love I'm afraid.

- Honestly, Camilo would struggle to get up in the middle of the night to cook for you but your growing bump reminds him it was his doing, so his responsability.

- He really uphold to that. His father raised him well after all, always take care of your woman. And thats what he did.

- He rubbed your swollen feet anytime they hurt. Camilo will spend as much time as needed massaging your back and shouders, peppering your skin with little kisses.

- Camilo was extremly careful to be gentle when he rubbed the oil over your stretching belly, to prevent the scars. Though, they never bothered him, he loved ever part of you, no matter how much it morphed and change over your shared life.

-Each time you got emotional you always find solace in his arms. No judgment, sometimes not even talking. Camilo just wanted to make you knew he was there for you, that you didn't to worry about anything cause he would love you through night and day.

- And what do you mean you felt ugly ? Where did your pretty, precious head could get such ideas ? How could such a magnificent creature such as yourself believe ridiculous ideas.

- "Querida look at me..." He said gently, tilting his head to meet your eyes as you both sat on your bed. Despite your soft sniffles you turned your head toward him as you tried your best to minimize your weight gain.

- He smiled tenderly, caressing the soft flesh of your side. "Can ask you something, amore ?" After you gave him a soft nod, he leaned in and kissed your neck ever so lightly.

- "Can I make love to you ? Show you how absolutely breathtaking you are..." He muttered against your skin, nipping ever so gently, giving you room to turn him down. But you didn't, and you felt so much better after, sated and loved.

- You two slept together a lot during your pregnancy; for relief, pleasure and love. Especially during the fourth month, those hormones your horniest ovulation period.

- When he came to baby names, Camilo suggested some things but in the end, the choice was all yours. It was the least he could do for his beautiful woman. Yes, he would chase Abuela away so you can choose the perfect name without any pressure.

- He talked to your baby all the time, especially after a long day. Camilo told jokes, half expectedly to feel the baby respond. And they did ! The first kick you felt in your belly was when your husband made the lousiest joke.

- In consequence, anytime Camilo wanted to feel his precious baby, you would have the suffer the worst jokes. At least it saved you any worry from the lack of movement.

- And, the cherry on top of the cake, your loving curly haired husband would lift your belly up from behind to relieve you from the weight whenever he had enough time, drawing deep hums from you.

- Overall, Camilo will take extra care of you, making sure you took your perinatal vitamins and had the proprer food to stay healthy. He installed any furniture you wanted, read- who am I kidding, listened to you read him every book about bith and parenthood.

- He was ready for birth, like a soldier ready for his mission. The baby clothes were ready, your space was too, comfortable and clean ; the food you were not allowed to eat during the pregnancy was neatly prepared and he had full bottles of coffee ready to stay awake all night by your side.

- He was ready ! ... Or at least he appeared so right before he saw your water break. The key was to remain calm they said...

So many people say that Pepa’s not a good mother, but I totally beg to differ because you can just tell by these scenes alone that she loves her babies 😭 (she love bombs them like Juli does with hers 🥹) People seem to forget as well that we only see THREE DAYS of this family’s life and it’s a very stressful three days, so no one in the family is really acting as they normally would. I just feel like the Madrigal women get a lot of stick for handling their stress badly. It’s not a reflection on how they act all the time
