The Silent Hero
Chapter One
**Part 1**
Piltover, The city built on innovation. Born are its people who strive to better their cities' future, but like with any future there is also a past.
Nine years before chaos fully ensued, affecting Piltover. A Vastaya Hybrid is still trying to figure his place, mourning the loss of his father. He knew from a young age that he wanted to be an Enforcer like him, but he also loved to travel, So now he was definitely unsure about it, especially after the mysterious circumstances surrounding his father's death. He sat quietly on a chair in his father's study looking at the family photos, and documents stacked on his desk. He begins shorting through all the important documents and in doing so he comes across a strange black envelope unopened with no sender or return address, with only his fathers name on it. Confused and curious he begins to look around the desk, then opens a drawer finding a letter opener taking it out, then going back to the envelope in his hand and cuts it open. He begins to read the contents on the paper, his frills on his cheek rose, eyes widening.
The Letter…
Lucello, You need to stay out of this, I cant keep covering for you. If you keep sticking your nose where it doesn't belong, the next time I'll be talking to you is at your funeral… So “Please” let it go, Think about your Wife & Son.
Final Warning!
After reading it he stood up quickly causing the chair to scrap loudly against the floor, slamming his hands down on the desk as his heart began to race, anger rising within him, tears rolling down his cheeks. He began to hyperventilate with the realization that his father's death was indeed a Murder. His eye began to shift back and forth rapidly as he tries to process what he just read, he throws his head back letting out a loud hoarse scream with his nictitating membrane covering his eyes as he began to swing his hands across the desk throwing everything off the sides, Then falls back into the chair with one hand over his face as he cries, while the other hung off to the side. He looks around slightly as he wipes away tears when something red catches his attention. It's another envelope, and he picks it up but this one is much nicer with gold trim around the edges with a sweet scent he can’t quite place. Unlike the other one, this one has a name and address. Tavarez Zartienz, from some place called The Honey Pot, located in Shurima. With his anxiety all ready in high gear he quickly rips open the envelope and reads the letter inside.
The Letter …
Hola señor Sillo,
I've been thinking about our visit the other night. I definitely do enjoy your company Dulzura(Sweetness)... But I do have concerns from what we've discussed and I understand you might require my assistance but unfortunately, I must return to Shurima as I have other business to attend to. If something more comes up and you do end up actually requiring my help, don't be shy... Keep in touch.
Tavarez 💜
He was a bit flustered after reading the letter, confused and wondering if his father may have been having an affair and just who the hell is this woman… Tavarez?! And if so, how long has his Father been seeing her? He didn't want to bring it up to his mother as she is in enough pain as it was. He sat there deep in thought wondering what he should do so he decided to pull out a map and look it over. He looked back at both the letters and then made his decision that if he's going to get any answers he needed to find this woman. He grabbed both letters and ran out the office slamming the door behind him. He runs to his room and packs a bag, then quickly rushes down the stairs. In doing so he runs into his mother stopping abruptly. He looks at her hiding the letters behind his back. She can tell by the look in her son's eyes, and with his bag in hand, that he's going to go traveling again. She smiled and nodded. He smiled and hugged And kissed her cheek and as he ran and stopped he looked back at his mother and smiled then closed the door behind him as he's making his way down the path he hears a voice. “Hello, Steb.” a lovely young short hair brunette with big brown eyes says as she walks up to him with a big smile. It was his neighbor's daughter Lucia. He always thought Lucia was beautiful and thought about being with and his dad kept telling him about her all the time, but he was indecisive whether he wanted to date her or not. Blushing, he nodded and waved at her. “ I was hoping to see you.” She giggled. “So what are you up to?” She asked, twirling her hair on her finger. Steb looked around, then pointed to his backpack, as he blushed lightly. Lucia smiled. “Oh that's a nice backpack, is it new?” He furled his brow, and looked off to the side then shook his head.
She walked up closer to him and touched his forearm, rubbing her hand up and down. “Well if you have nothing to do, would you like to come over for dinner?” Steb shook his head no, gesturing again to his backpack and pointing to town. Lucia stepped into him more, placing her hand on his chest, standing almost eye to eye with him… At this point he was becoming uncomfortable. “So is that a yes?” She asked while batting her lashes. Steb, frustrated at this point, finally spoke with a deep gravelly voice. “S-sorry… I.. I can’t." He paused for a moment before speaking again, sounding more hoarse. “U-urgent business to attend to.” he pointed to town once more. Confused, she smiled and said softly. “Oh, well I’ll see you later today then?” He started to roll his eyes a bit, but caught himself as to not be rude. Steb smiled politely and nodded his head and waved, turning around walking away quickly as he could. He felt bad but he was on a mission, he had to find this… Tavarez. Steb finally made it to the port and got a ticket to Shurima. Before he knew it, he was on his way to his destination. He sat down, got comfortable and got out a book. Enforcer book on Rules & Regulations, as he settled in he opened it and began to read. After a few hours passed he fell asleep with the book resting on his lap. The book then started to slide off to the side, hitting the floor with a loud thud, Jolting him awake causing him to stand up quickly, he began to scan his surroundings. There it was… Shurima.

The Silent Hero
Chapter 2
**Part 1**
Tavarez walked out of the room with Steb following behind her. “Holla Jefa(Hello Boss)!” Said a Tall Handsome green eyed man. “¿Salir?(Heading out?)” Tavarez turns to him with a smile. “Hola Mateo, and Sí. Mi amigo y yo have important business to take care of. So if you could kindly hold down the fort that would be great.” Mateo nodded. “Por supuesto jefa puedes contar conmigo(of course boss you can count on me).” Tavarez smirked. “Fantástico, gracias amor hasta luego(Fantastic, thank you love see you later).” Mateo waves as Tavarez and Steb walk out. Steb raised an eyebrow looking at her a bit confused. “Don’t worry Mateo is a trusted friend… and yes if you're wondering, I do own The Honey Pot.” She said with amusement. Steb blushed at that realization. “So do you have a place to stay tonight?” she asked. Steb shook his head. “Alright my place it is.” Smiling as she gestured for him to follow.
Back in Piltover the day after Steb left, Someone was looking into Lucello, trying to figure out what intel he may have collected. Lucello always carried a small leather bound journal everywhere he went, and with that info they decided to hire someone to retrieve it. That night a dark-haired man snuck into Lucello’s home office through a door on the balcony. He slowly entered the room, scanning it making sure it’s clear before walking further in and upon doing so he saw that the office was already in disarray. He sighed heavily and began shorting through all the papers scattered all over. After about an hour of no luck, he walked over to the desk and started opening each drawer one by one, digging through everything and feeling around for possible hiding compartments, again no luck. I walked over the furniture digging and feeling around everything… nothing. He then made his way over to the liquor cabinet searching that thoroughly as well, again nothing. He sighed once more, grabbing a glass and pouring himself a drink. “No luck, I'll take it.” Asked a hooded woman. “Nope.” Then man in a deep voice. “I will not accept failure, Talon.” The woman said with a low angry voice. “I haven’t failed yet.” Rolling his eyes as he spoke. “I heard that Lucello's son Steb left for town yesterday and hasn’t been back, So I suggest you start there, maybe the port.” She said, sounding annoyed. “As you wish, boss.” He said with an irritated tone. Talon finished his drink he then set the glass down. He looked back at the woman as he walked by her trying to figure her out, she wore a mask and her hood drooped low enough to cover her eyes. He turned away and walked onto the balcony then jumped off, making his way into town. Talon made it to the port and proceeded to walk over to the counter. “Hello, can I help you sir?” Asked the clerk. “Perhaps… I was wondering if a male Fishfolk-hybrid came by yesterday?” He asked kindly. “Why yes sir, is there a problem?” The clerk asked with concern. “No-no not at all.” He chuckled. “Can you tell me where he went, I mean if that's ok?” The clerk smiled and spoke softly. “Well sir, he requested a ticket to Shurima.” Talon smiled. “Why thank you kindly. I would also like one Ticket to Shurima.” After the clerk gave him his ticked he walked away from the counter making his way down to the docks. “I take it, you know where he is?” Asked the hooded woman walking up to him. “Apparently your little fish is in Shurima.” Talon grinned. She narrowed her eyes. “Get the journal back, Kill him if you must and whoever else gets in your way.” He ran a hand through his hair with a smirk. “Roger that.”
