i imagined him being sort of like the myth of Honorato e Maria Caninana
two magical snakes that protect Marangatu (in the show)
(Marangatu is a sanctuary for sacred beings and entities, and it is also a place of great power and sacredness for the natives)
a entity older than the others thinks with the duty of protecting something
Hob would fit well into that category i think, his powers could be similar to Caninana's
