It’ll be alright. I suffer from anxiety and major depresion, and recently started going to the therapist as well. At first it’s absurdly scary, but you’ll see that it not only helps you vent (bcz indeed it IS good to have someome to talk to, about these things) but it’s some sort of self-discovery journey as well. I’m sure it will help you a lot and I hope everything goes well there!

Odin: What is your family like?

“Well…to start, my family is quite large. I have three children, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and most recently one great-great-grandchild. These are, of course, all of the…living children. Some have sadly passed away, either from illness or from war.

To start, my children are a vengeful sort. Like to their mother, no doubt. And they have passed that trait to their children as well. And because of this, I was…quickly outcasted from the family after Caromont’s death. Every now and then, I would receive a letter from one of them recounting what has happened in the past year. I fear they must have felt remorse for me. I so desperately wished to get in contact with them, but every attempts to do so met at failure. Until recently, of course, when one of my grandchildren wished to have me return to Ishgard to meet their first grandchild; my great-great-granddaughter.

My first born is Josephine, she is the light of many lives. And she has saved many of them as well, being a chirurgeon. Next is Adrien, and, shortly after, Fleurgeant - both of whom had their eyes set on becoming Dragoons as soon as they heard they existed. Adrien was not able to make that dream come true, due to a war injury - and settled with breeding only the finest chocobos in Ishgard. However, Fleurgeant was able to be accepted as a Dragoon; and I am immensely proud of him and all of my children. My youngest two are Elvirelle and Etiennette, twins, both of whom have passed away. Etiennette died merely one winter into her life, due to complications with her health. Elvirelle lived much longer, but ultimately met her end facing a Dravanian horde.

To make it much easier for you to grasp, though…

Here is Josephine’s family. She is married to Elouan with three living children: Paschel, Oudette, and Agathana. You will notice that the longer the generations the more of the children that survive - with better living conditions as to what they used to be, it is only natural. Now, if you thought her family was large.

Here is Adrien’s family. His son, Elvire, contacted me about his daughter, Aurorie, having a daughter…which they have named Maximilienne - after me. Which…I do not get emotional easily, but…I can make an exception for something like this. Adrien’s other three children are Irisane, Esther, and Honorie.

Fleurgeant has the smallest family, but of course, the most close knit. Camilla was adopted into our family as Lothaire’s daughter. His two brother’s both passed away in the Coerthas Western Highlands, attempting to make names for themselves at the Convictory; I have heard that since then, Lothaire has been playing his life safely.

(Oh my goodness, thank you so much for the ask @eoghanedhel - Max’s family is huuuge, and he’s just now recently coming in contact with them after thirty years of being an outcast. He doesn’t know much about his family personally, as he’s never gotten to spend time with most of them. Yet. I was actually thinking about making an alt for either Lothaire or Honorie…*shrug* I’ve got too many alts as is so.)

For FFXIV(because trying to go general would be a headache--), as you follow me it will come to no surprise that I have this terrible obsession over The Heavens’ Ward.

Other FFXIV characters being Haurchefant, Y’shtola, the twins, Regula van Hydrus, Aymeric...Stephanivien is getting there...tonberries are considered characters right?

Skirts. From short to mid-length, but never mini. I absolutely HATE jeans and pants and if I can avoid wearing them I will do it. Also they’re comfy and easy to wear. >:l

My upbringing was a rather brutal and cruel one. Fortunately I never had to kill as a child, and not even as an adult. I probably wounded a few cretins, but the killing was more on my…friends. But if I had a choice I would rather avoid killing and if I had no choice and my life was in danger? Then yes, I would fight back in order to live. If I was forced to be pitted against a friend to the death? I would rather kill myself then fight against them.

You could say I don’t value my life, but I say that I treasure my friends’ lives more than my own.

In the end we all have some motive in spilling blood whether we think it’s immoral or not. Mine happens to be I rather not, unless there’s a damn good reason that I have to.“

Ahlis would become like fire and ice, hot and cold all at once. She’ll start paying them more of her attention to speak with them, or show random and uninvited bouts of subtle affection. Then the next day she’ll give them the cold shoulder and act ambivalent. Perhaps that comes off more rude than weird, but it certainly is not her usual behavior! Normally you know where she stands with you…usually, anyway.

When Ahlis was a young child, before the fall of Ala Mhigo, her mother allowed her to keep her hair long. So one of the things they often did together was style and braid each other’s hair. Ahlis’s mother showed her various types of braids, how to add beading or other ornaments to one’s hair.

A lot of that changed however once they had to leave the city and traveled Eorzea as refugees. Ahlis’s hair was cropped short and kept that way for years afterwards (for the sake of easiness as well as hygiene) and her hair was rarely well braided like it was before; because of this a lot of Ahlis’s memory on how to do certain hair styles as well as their traditions has been forgotten.
