Cover of magazines
Last month Donnerwetter was selected to become the cover horse of a equistrian magazine. An agent of the company visited us in person to get to know the individual horses and to find a suiting candidate for the shoot. It did not took long until she found the perfect horse for their aesthetic. To be honest I am not really surprised that she fell head over heels for the dark chestnut with orange hair - after all he is indeed stunning. We scheduled an appointment for the shooting and waited for the results. It did not took long until the first samples were exchanged and an additional interview was booked. What can I say? We made it. ✨
Emily and Maleficent were tacked up and ready. Last thing to do was to tighten the mordax and leave the tents to go to the warm-up ring. The weather was unexceptionally great, the sun shone bright in their faces. Ready to go, their time was closing in and they entered the start box, Emily’s heart was beating fast as she waited impatiently for the buzz of no return. … Beep … And off they flew, Maleficent’s hooves thundering under Emily, as they were going over obstacle after obstacle. It was their time to shine! (and not fall off)

Kitchwin Hills is coming along nicely. It's Autumn now but the smells in spring is divine.
Third Update
As our time is coming near, Waylon has made extraordinary progress over the last 60 days. There's still much to be done but he's just about show ready, he'll make a fine horse for his next owner if they can put some more time into him.
We've learned under saddle he's actually quite lazy once relaxed, doesn't quite need a spur but he does need a little motivation to keep him moving. He wants to stop frequently, in fact it seems that's his favorite part of his workouts, walk breaks.
