A Tear Sans challenge event, that came to be simply because I realized I can make it be a pun. Everything related to it will be under #octearber tag on my blog. Any medium is allowed. Days can be skipped, you can do just the ones that interest you, go out of order, etc. Anything that makes the experience enjoyable for YOU. Please prioritize self-care over managing to finish deadlines or doing each day.

I really do love the headcanon that Sans AUs can understand the language of their creators, even if they themselves cannot speak it. They don't know why or how they came to understand it, it's just something ingrained into them.

Because of a very particular stream, and few other smaller instances, I feel like I'd be more comfortable stating this openly.

I ask you to please not initiate unprompted proship talk on my streams, server or on my blog. I do not want to see it, I am not interested, it makes me feel icky, I don't want to hear your stances on the topic, I don't want to know what proship AU you enjoy or hate. Please stop forcing me to be a part of this. You will make me uncomfortable and at the end of the day, I am the one who has to hold everyone back from lashing out on each other too. Any proship talk is prohibited on my server and streams. You will be timed out at first and possibly blocked if it's repeated more

I have been passing too many follower milestones that I could not keep up with while working on my comic and now that I'm back from my trip too, it's time for a little surprise. Wanted to give back to you guys a lil. So here is the plan…

I will be drawing a big piece with Tear, everyone's OCs around and few more known Sanses. You guys would also get the original A2 file as a download. There is no specific raffle slot amount, as I will try to squeeze in as many characters as I can. Aim is to have at least 40 characters in the drawing. I will use random number generator to pick OCs that get drawn. Mutuals are automatically guaranteed to be drawn. The art itself will take a long time to make, as it's a big piece, so please be patient.

I think I truly understand the power of having a community and how to run it. Here are my hard earned tips:

1. Lure them in with a character story

2. Get a lil more social to appear more approachable

3. Make a Discord server, except this was a trap all along to make you play Dandy's World with me. When I sink into a new fandom, I take you all with me. By the time you realize, it is too late for you

Fun useless facts about things I scrapped and more:

-Tear was gonna have a friend, Swap, that he learns of the multiverse from. But like a good creator that I am, I stripped that away from them. It interfered with their lonely character and wish to be like Sans.

-They could have ended up as more of a comedy character. The scene with Error's puppets still happens, after which Tear ultimately doomed themselves to be picked up as an unwilling food delivery person/food supplier for Nightmare's castle. Error would despise Tear and make sure that for each visit to Nightmare's place he makes Tear absolutely miserable and uncomfortable. Saying this in my server's VC resulted in a lot of 'pizza hut Tear' when we played gartic phone. I scrapped this so fast, as I didn't want Tear to be 'comedy only' and wanted a touch of something that feels more real. The thought is still hilarious tho.

-Tear wasn't gonna have a new brother. But moving countries, found family felt like a comforting concept I relate to and wished to include.

-In some art I drew Tear surfing on snow. This is influenced by my brother picking up surfing and Tear's inability to use magic in water.
