8/25/2014 Written by Eric Leva & Katie Costello ©2013 Produced by Elliot Jacobson & Jerry Fuentes Mastered by Mike Tuccillo I remember when I lost someone I loved You were there to hear me out Now the table's turned and I can see it in your face You need someone to turn it around Hear me when I say Lay down your fears Tilt your head up to the sky Tilt your head up to the sky Don't you worry it'll all be fine We've all been lost, lost a million times I should know It's nothing new for me to say But hold on tight, it'll be ok I should know I should know I can hear your voice dance around the truth Trying to keep the pain away While you're breaking down I'll pick up every piece I know that you would do the same Hear me when I say Lay down your fears Tilt your head up to the sky Tilt your head up to the sky Don't you worry it'll all be fine We've all been lost, lost a million times I should know It's nothing new for me to say But hold on tight, it'll be ok I should know I should know Lay down your fears Tilt your head up to the sky Tilt your head up to the sky Don't you worry it'll all be fine We've all been lost, lost a million times I should know It's nothing new for me to say But hold on tight, it'll be ok I should know I should know

Words and Music by Eric Leva & Scarlet Keys Produced by Nick Goldston
I'm not sure if I've ever actually written about my love for Frederic Chopin on the internet before. It's about time kids!
When I was growing up behind the piano, my favorite composer was always Chopin. Year in and year out, I always brought his Nocturnes to my piano lessons at the New England Conservatory. There's just something about those pieces man. I think it's pretty magical when you find music that makes you feel that way - at a loss for words to describe why you like it.
I can't put into words what Chopin has taught me about music. It's just in my DNA at this point.
So, last night, when I couldn't sleep, I channeled my inner Polish romanticist composer and wrote this little piece. This is my nod to Chopin - my thank you letter to him for being the most significant musical influence in my life.
