Wait what’s Freddy’s reaction to the baby????
ohoho Flor is still living with Freddy when she finds out she’s pregnant so hiding it from him just isn’t a good plan. her and Jacob declare to Freddy that they’re getting married in like three months and Freddy’s like “??? um what wait marriage? does father know? hold on— why so quickly?????” and Jacob and Flor are both idiots (and Flor crumples under the pressure of her brother panicking, the fact that she’s growing a little human, and she’s going to have to get married soon) and she kind of just blurts it and Jacob’s stood next to her like “shit”.
to be fair to him though, Freddy takes it well. by this point, he’s seen that his sister and Jacob are well and truly in love and, in the back of his mind, he knew them getting married and whatnot was inevitable but he’s just inconvenienced by the fact that it’s NOW?? could they not have kept off of each other for a while?? but, when dear Emmett is born, Freddy probably cries bc he’s a softie really and he loves his sister and this little baby that has her nose and lips and little mole on his lip. all-in-all, he’s stressed but not overly angry and just melts when the baby’s actually born.
