Thanks for the tag, @jaimistoryteller!
1. How are you doing today?
Hmm? Oh, I’m fine. Bit busy, but that’s life.
2. You ready to answer some questions?
3. How do you feel about your last name? Your surname?
...Which last name? Before-me had Lott, which was kinda - eh. I was born Alice Bond, which I can appreciate for the pun of ‘Sibling Bonds’. I ended up changing my last name to Liddell when Jem joined the SIS. I like that, but it kinda makes me sad that the character of Alice isn’t in the Wonderland series here.
4. Is there anything you’d like to thank your author for?
I suppose - the fact that I didn’t die? This time, anyway. Jem’s lost enough people, he doesn’t need another death of a loved one. Also, for not giving me a ridiculously angsty Before.
5. You can only eat three foods for the rest of your life, what are they?
This is any three foods, right? Pomegranate Turkish Delight from that one shop Madre used to bring home Before, Stovies like Kincaid used to give us when we were little (I can never get the ratios quite right), and the Beignets Marc Ange always had available in the mornings (his chef adds a spice to them, but I don’t know which one, and it is profoundly irritating that I can’t find any that taste quite right anywhere else).
6. Have you ever done or said anything that surprised your author?
Jem dropped in on me for a heart-to-heart about the realities of his life as a spysassin and I let it slip that I had organised some ‘accidents’. I don’t think Essa was expecting that - or at least, I don’t think Essa was expecting me to admit it.
7. You have limitless funds, what kind of party are you going to have?
Probably a themed masquerade ball. I’ve never attended one, and they look fun. Oh, and a chocolate fountain big enough to swim in. Because why not?
8. Tell us a quick story about something that happened to you that not even your author knows... yet.
I think Regina might have a crush on me, which makes me... slightly uncomfortable, because saviour complex is not a healthy beginning to a relationship, so I’m thinking of trying to set her up with Ellery. They have complementary temperaments, and the banter has been edging into flirtatious territory a few times, so hopefully they’re happy together.
[Alice, Alice why? Your minions do not need to be in a romantic relationship; and when did Regina even get a crush on you? It was just hero-worshipping / idolising you five minutes ago.]
9. Do you have a favourite hero?
Probably Julie d’Aubigny or Virginia Hall. They were badasses.
10. What do you plan to do after this?
Aside from dinner with Jem and getting Regina and Ellery together? I’m afraid I can’t answer that, on the grounds that, as long as no-one knows I’ve done it, it’s not illegal.
