Over the last week I’ve been a bit lazy when it comes to doing my nails so this morning I decided to treat myself to a little nail care session which I don’t do often, normally I just paint my nails and move on.
But today I decided to do the whole nine yard routine, buffing nails, filing , shaping pretty much everything I can’t be bothered to do. As I’ve mentioned in a few posts now I’ve been taking vitamins for a few months now and as well as a crazy growth in my hair my nails have also changed. They have become so much stronger now and they go so much quicker which makes painting my nails way more fun to do.
Plus everyone loves that feeling when your nails grow and you can tap the table really loud, we’ve all been there haven’t we?! So I decided to paint my nails this gorgeous burgundy shimmer shade by Essie (thanks mum for letting me borrow it) and I’m so in love with it. It’s a gorgeous colour and when the light hits my nails it has a holographic shine that I’m loving!!!
This year I’m focusing on all the little things that I started to glaze over last year and having my nails done always makes me feel a bit more put together so I’m going to carry that on this year too.
