Compiling you all onto a single post because HOLEY MOLEY that’s a lot of you.  I feel so incredibly loved & honored that you all feel this way.  Genuinely, from the little ooc posts I do & the interaction I get on them to stuff like this, you guys always make me feel so welcome.  Coming back to this blog, no matter how long, feels like home to me.  It reminds me that the world is filled with love & warmth & truly makes me happy. Some of you may know that this past year has been ROUGH for me.  From people being cruel to IRL being a mess I won’t go into the details of.  But it almost made me quit completely.  Belial as a whole was almost ruined for me bc of some individuals in my life.  So a massive heartfelt thank you for digging me out of my little hole & making my days just that much brighter & reminding me why I write & love this awful idiot Primal. Thank you for giving me the strength to take another step.  It means more to me than I can express with words.

Saccharine in the curves of her glossy lips. Dark clothing as the garments of a fantasy date: halloween ! The primal has been doing nothing more than a few tricks using her powers and, with fleeting time on dainty hands, there she is standing in front of the captain. ❛ There you go. I won’t say trick and treat for this one, consider it as a gift from the witch. ❜ With the wink of an eye, she places a piece of candy in the other’s. / trick or treat? : D

   Well, that's...disappointing. The candy was welcome, don't get them wrong (but if they were to be picky...just one?), it was just that Gran had been sure they'd catch her without any, so to then not only be robbed off the greeting but also lose the chance to pull a trick on her?

   Not fun.

   Maybe they could at least guilt trip her into giving them more by pouting, and maybe they'd get some fun reaction from her too, and if not...then they had at least tried. No use wasting time on that when they could move on to the next person. Crystal might be boring, but that’s just a lesson learned for next year — this would not happen again.

          Prunella - a primal that commanded the earth’s nutrients to grow nature’s bountiful beauty; a dainty thing that was only now learning how to pull her own weight in a fight. Crystal - a primal shrouded in twilight that could twist perception and words like a knife in someone’s chest; yet her own heart was carved with both loving signatures and worn battle scars. For the smaller to come out unscathed and still having the energy to pick herself up was a feat all on it’s own, and she knew she had her dear friend to partially thank for that. Both for the encouragement needed for her to grow, and for backing her up in all times of need. Yet she wants to grow even stronger and fight more alongside her, still feeling that they haven’t reached such an equal footing. And so, while the other members of the crew mingled, healed, and made preparations to seek shelter or respite, Prunella was planting a kiss on Crystal’s nearest bruise. Thanks and apologises - warmth mixed in a vow - as well as a little natural healing element to boot.

          Hearing Crystal’s words made her ease up and smile a little, before squinting her eyes shut as her hair was ruffled ever so gently. She shakes her head upon Crystal’s worry, before the primal answers her own question, causing Prunella to look up into her gaze. Watching as Crystal lifts some strands of her short hair, before - “Oh?” she can’t hold back the excitement in her voice at the comment. Eyes shimmer in the evening sunlight, thankful that she’s learned well enough how tone works, and Crystal’s used towards her makes her feel...Prideful in her own right, she assumes. “Do you really mean it?” asked with childlike wonder and joy dancing on her expression, the usually still girl even doing a happy little sway. If Crystal says it to her, then certainly it must mean her progress is true, right?

“Crystal…” The name is sheepishly said just above a whisper, hiding the rest of her face while her eyes tried to focus more on the primal through the covering over them. The idea she had thrown out about mimicking Vane’s werewolf design for a cute little Xolotl costume was meant to be just directed at the captain, but of course the members of the crew around them had to spread it around the entire ship, and that meant very excitable fashion crewmembers jumping her and dressing her in...Well, a lot of hardwork and dedication made into one embarrassing outfit, but also not something she could simply say no to. The skirt looked just like Xolotl’s neckpiece, the flowy cape to mimic his green flames, the furry bodice and tail to match. Two golden bangles for each wrist and ankle made it more embarrassing to know everyone would look her way, either from the shine or the sound. And then a gold headpiece to both perfectly match Xolotl and perfectly fit on her head...It was overkill, especially when they didn’t actually account for eyeholes, and she was sure she wouldn’t be able to take it off by herself.

But her deep red blush was clearly visible on the rest of her face, slowly stumbling in furry yet golden-tipped flats until her outstretched hands touched Crystal’s arm. Whereupon Diantha practically pulled the woman towards her so she could cling akin to holding onto a tree branch for dear life. “I don’t think...If you want me to go, you’re going to have to be my eyes, okay?” Skies above, she wanted to be a good friend and both hang out with Crystal and show off her other friends’ skills, but she certainly also just wants to hide in her room so any little kids and adults alike didn’t have to mock her all night.

   WITH THE ADRENALINE OF A FIGHT still coursing through his veins, beau winces as he slowly realizes the extent of his injuries. reaching one hand up, he touches where his jacket is now soaked with blood— a knife meant for crystal’s throat buried itself in his shoulder when he wedged himself between her and the attacker.

   with the threat now taken care of, out of crystal’s reach, beau turns to face her, expression scrunched up with pain. however, his focus remains on her. 

   ‘ you’re alright. ‘ a statement more than a question, beau positions himself to fill her point of view, making him the vocal point of her attention. ‘ do you need to sit down? ‘

Neo stared, and wondered, tilting her head to the side a little before letting one of her fingers rest upon her lips; a rather mischievous smile decorating the woman’s expression.

With a subtle wave of her hand, she bowed her body just slightly, before straightening her posture soon afterwards.

It was enough, to see that the other didn’t seem ashamed or disgusted when staring into her mismatched hues, so she relaxed, opening the parasol over her shoulder and making it twirl around a little.

That would have to be good for a response. After all, she couldn’t talk.
