A first time for (nearly) everything! ... I’m sorry for the selfie; I’m still mystified! (Just for reference.) . For the first time in my life someone came up to me in the Airport and wanted to take a photo with me. . I’m guessing that the lady sensed my initial reticence, I did mention that I’m not Richard Gere or some other famous person, but she persisted. Evidently it was because she’d never seen hair like mine. (Perhaps she’s blind?) . I suppose it gets old quickly; but, it was a unique experience. (At least for me!) Iced Tea (Take 2!) It’s a religious holiday in Ethiopia. Even though it’s a placid area I’m gonna have a quiet day. So, washing & baking day! . Anyway,... Thanks for all the Iced Tea input! In the end I improvised. The improvisation was an amalgam of KH from AA & the ideas from the USA (& Canada). Recipe: - 2 Large spoons of loose tea (black) in a mug and steeped for a few hours (I forgot it). - 4 tablespoonfuls of sugar in water (3 cups) - 3 small lemons Pour the tea into the sugar water with the cut lemons. (Do I have to say into a jug? Otherwise the floor gets wet.) . Thanks to Mrs. Worster for the cornbread mix! Yes Mum, @ethrobin the oven thermostat is a bit wonky!
