Just because I was the mastermind behind all this BCI bullshit doesn't mean I wouldn't have done it if I didn't need to. Not just in this political climate but in general, I miss Eureka. A small tight-knit community of people who appreciate and value science and intellect sounds like heaven on Earth right about now but it's so hard to find fans of my source, let alone canonmates, that it feels like everybody just scattered to the four winds - a very lonely Beverly Barlowe

Eureka's an obscure show, I was only featured on there in a recurring guest supporting role, and 90% of the people making posts that even mention me on Tumblr think I'm the bad guy. It's like the universe wants me to not even find any sourcemates never mind canonmates - a very frustrated and lonely Beverly Barlowe

2x kinfirmation!

So I just recently confirmed my first ever kintype with a canon character, and of course, knowing me, it’s the most obscure one of the ones I am questioning; Beverly Barlowe from Eureka/A Town Called Eureka (the show has two different names depending on the country you’re from). I haven’t even seen any fellow Eurekans/Eurekakin on the rare kintype finder blogs. Hmu if you’re also Eurekakin; I don’t care about doubles or who was on what side, I just want to find someone if anyone’s out there. I only have a few memories and I’m hoping to get more but for the most part, my canon stuck pretty closely to the show’s with the greatest difference being me being Jewish.

However, there is a bit of weirdness involved because I technically have another kintype from that universe only because Warehouse 13 is sorta in the same universe as Eureka (because it was in the same universe as the post-time-travel timeline, the travel brought them into alignment). I was a non-canon agent and pretty much none of the main team from show canon was there except for Mrs. Frederic and maybe Leena (I don’t recall her in any of my memories but she might’ve been there, I just recall that architecturally, the B&B was different). The weird part about this kintype is I recall almost nothing about myself, not my name nor what I looked like, all I know is that my partner and I joined the Warehouse at around the same age Claudia was when she joined and that (though I wasn’t basically a Claudia-equivalent as in I didn’t have all her storylines) I was the one tapped to be the next Caretaker. Weirdly, all my memories (both dreams and not) from Warehouse 13 have been in first-person PoV. Speaking of my partner, I remember more about her than myself though I know I wasn’t her. She had curly sandy blonde hair (that she always wore tied back for safety reasons after a close encounter of the goo kind), teal eyes and kind of a Lizzie-Mc-Guire-ish early 2000s dress sense. I also remember that some sort of catastrophe during our tenure as agents necessitated the use of the Magellan Astrolabe (though I don’t recall if it was Warehouse destruction) and that, while the other team of agents (the Myka and Pete to our Claudia and Steve) chased down the bad guy responsible, my partner and I were retrieving the Astrolabe. She chose to use it instead of me because she knew what it would do and was afraid she wouldn’t be able to stop what I’d do ”under the influence” but had enough confidence in my ability to stop her.
