Tell me more about Euryyd's story?

Euryyd Kaarme is a fantroll of mine! She, along with the other 12 trolls, are based on the Celtic zodiac. She is the Adder/Snake (Feb 18 - Mar 17). Euryyd and Wadjet are based on the common European adder.

Euryyd is a jadeblood (7th highest in their blood caste system) who has an older sister named Wadjet, and they have a snakemom aka a 40-foot long giant white snake who left her nest to take care of them. She is an autistic nonbinary trans lesbian who uses she/they, and she is dating purpleblood Odette Labuut. She is 8 sweeps (18 years) old when the story starts.

She and 12 other friends – who will be known as the Delta 13 – begin a game that triggers the apocalypse of their planet. The game gives each of them a planet and journey that will help develop their character and their game, though they can chose to fuck the game and do their own adventure. The entire point of the game is to create a new universe where they can live. Their game crosses paths with the humans’ game – the Delta 3 – and they become friends. Together, along with their older siblings and guardians, they work towards the end goal of creating a new universe where they can live peacefully.

The game gives Euryyd the title of Seer of Doom, her god tier. A seer guides through understanding their aspect, and doom here would actually mean doom instead of being a metaphorical definition. Here is a description of what a Seer of Doom would do. Essentially, she can see the doomed pathlines of her group’s game, and help lead them away from them and/or guide their enemies to disaster.

Euryyd’s journey throughout the game has her deal with consequences and facing reality and being responsible. Back on her original planet, she was one of the few trolls who could walk under the two suns, and she used this to her advantage. She would hunt unsuspecting trolls in the daylight w her snakemom, helping feed her and giving her a taste of blood (she is very vampiristic, and I haven’t decided yet if she becomes a vampire or not). The suns were her escape and playroom, as she liked to search for gems that gleamed in the sunlight. Seeing as how she and her sister were of a very rare caste, they were treated with a level of respect by their higher class peers (she would be a midblood). She’s used to a certain lifestyle, what with being interested in fashion and geology, and having the privilege of having a Mother Snake be her lusus (animal guardian). When she enters her game, her planet is the Land of Deserts and Shadows: she is no longer under the safe blanket of sunlight, and there is no shiny things for her to hunt. There are many sandstorms, and she will have to chose usefulness over style. She must learn to let go of her past misconceptions and grow as a person. She must think about her group as a whole, and not think of them as cliques who decided to band together. They’re all she has left now.

Her sister joined the military when she was still young. Wadjet became a doctor, and is whisked off into outer space to heal the soldiers of the empire. She misses her a lot. Towards the end of the game, they are finally reunited when Wadjet joined the game with her own group, the Gamma 13. In the new universe, they help mother the new children of the world.

Once they entire their new universe, she shaves off her long, long hair. It’s time for new beginnings, and for new mistakes, and for new lessons.

I don’t know what happens to her and Odette yet. I think they’re still together

🔪 Has your OC ever killed someone? Ever had to defend themselves against violence? How did this make them feel? Or, alternatively, has your OC ever attacked someone? Seen someone die?

Because of the nature of the game, Euryyd has killed several monsters found on her planet, Land of Deserts and Shadows, because that’s just how you level up. Aside from the usual video game violence, I don’t think she’s ever physically fought with someone before, at least before entering the game. Maybe when they all enter, she fights w Botolf bcus they’re fighting w Romuul

Regarding seeing someone die, it’s part of the game, n I’m just not sure who should die yet... :)
