Narnia text posts 3/one gazillion
I love The Last Battle because almost every other Narnia book is from the Pevensies/Eustace/Jill’s perspective but since this one is mostly focusing on Tirian, we get insight as to how truly strange it is to be just a guy from Narnia and all of a sudden, these Children show up and are all like “yeah, we helped your great-great-great-great grandpa get un-kidnapped and we also helped his dad sail to the edge of the world and also my cousins are the most famous kings and queens in your history and oh by the way we also know the people who were there for the literal creation of your world.” But they’re still Literal Children and well. Children
eustace scrubb + jill pole, the silver chair
Sort of obsessed with the idea of characters being physically altered in Narnia and then being back in their previous bodies in England.
Like obviously we have the Pevensies growing up and becoming adults, but also I enjoy playing with the idea that Edmund is further changed as he's affected by the Witch's magic from 1. Eating her food and 2. Smashing and subsequently being stabbed by her wand.
And the other case we have is obviously Eustace being dragoned and undragoned and there's something to me about him still having dragonish characteristics when he's in Narnia, but then when he's in England he's entirely human again.
Narnia Moodboards // Eustace Scrubb
He began to be a different boy. He had relapses. There were still many days when he could be very tiresome. But most of those I shall not notice. The cure had begun.

“there was a boy called eustace clarence scrubb, and he almost deserved it.” - the voyage of the dawn treader
vs
“his name unfortunately was eustace scrubb, but he wasn’t a bad sort.” - the silver chair
c.s. lewis still making fun of eustace’s name, but at least he can acknowledge his growth lol.
Eustace and Aslan
December 2024 - Eustace and Aslan Panitning I did as a gift for my dad. I kind of feel that sketch was better than final result, but I am still figuring out the oil painting technique.
Currently I am working on series of paintning inspired by Neverending story book by Michael Ende.
