TJ Grant ended his UFC career on a five fight win streak that was capped off with a KO of Gray Maynard which guaranteed him a title shot at Ben Henderson. Of course that's a what if fight we never got to see because Grant ended up retiring due to catching a concussion in training and ultimately decided that the money in MMA wasn't worth the damage he was taking (Seeing as things are now he was right lol)

But this guy was a dog. Somebody you should definitely look up if you're unfamiliar.

You also know what's crazy? That fight against Gray Maynard was at UFC 160. The same card where Cain Velasquez murdered Big Foot for a second time, JDS caught Mark Hunt with a crazy spinning wheel kick. And names like Max Holloway, Khabib, Wonderboy and Robert Whittaker were still fighting on prelims.

What a time.

Trinaldo roasts Evan Dunham’s rib cage, 2nd round KO

Massaranduba just landed what I’m calling the hardest knee to the body I’ve ever seen a man take clean. Took off like a rocket right into the overstretched side of Dunham,s rib cage and the ref called the fight before Dunham even hit the ground.

Shouts to Dunham. This was his last fight before retirement. Fought a good fight but just got hit with a heat seeker. Best of luck to him with life after fighting.

Olivier Aubin-Mercier knocks out Evan Dunham in the 1st!

OAM goes to the body with knees, landing one that digs into the rib-cage that hurt Dunham before landing another that puts Dunham down. Huge win for OAM, that makes it four in a row and his first win over a ranked opponent.

Beneil Dariush and Evan Dunham fight to a draw

Dariush and Dunham get the majority draw call after a hard fought fight. Dariush took the first round 10-8 after dropping Dunham with a couple of elbows and just pounding him for about 4 minutes on the ground. Didn’t get him the stoppage though and it seemed to have tired him out. Dunham would storm back in the 2nd and 3rd, outworking the more tired Dariush. Fun scrap.

We rarely get draws here in North American MMA. Crazy to see two on the same card.

Herbert Burns submits Evan Dunham in 1:20 via RNC

Struggled for the bit it was on the feet but Burns was able to get a bodylock on Dunham and hook one of his legs to get the takedown and Dunham’s back. From there, Burns had Dunham turning until he locked up the RNC. Huge 2nd win in the UFC for Burns. Big week from the brothers Burns.
