As much as I bag Jack Suden out, he had the best reaction when the kids ‘confessed’ about the hit and run.

He didn’t make them out to be innocent, he didn’t rip into them, he was a constant, he was realistic.

He was the best parent/guardian out of all of them.

Note: This is mostly Mark in the first part as it pertains to Strickland’s death. There’s no school because of Strickland’s death. Andy comes off callous about her death (he ‘didn’t like her that much’) when Jack asks about her while Robert comments she was ‘about mum’s age.’ Viv is all ‘careful with my little girl’ Donna but is seeing dollars signs with selling flowers over Strickland. Mark is sick to the stomach when Len asks him to drive him to hospital for checkup. On the way, they encounter a checkpoint where the accident occurred as the police ask the drivers if they were around during the time of the incident.
