1976 compilation of Eve ‘Even Eve’ Furchgott’s Far Out West comics, documenting her quest for the most righteous life path. Eve was a founding member of the Kerista Commune in Haight-Ashbury and I think her comics are the best documentation of that whole scene and its characters. It’s like the Source Family was lucky to have photographers like Isis Aquarian documenting and Kerista was lucky to have Eve. -@faroutcompany
One of the many zines published in the ‘70s by the Kerista Commune in Haight-Ashbury. Kerista is probably most often remembered today for popularizing (and codifying) polyamory (or “polyfidelity”). But they also ran a large Apple computer service business called Abacus that employed more than 250 people at one point.
