Ewing Athletics x Grillo’s "The Pickle”

The world's best pickle meets the Ewing Sport Lite. Founder Travis Grillo started selling two spears for $1 out of a hand-built wooden pickle cart on the streets of Boston 10 years ago (after getting denied a job at Nike). Now, he and his brand have come full circle by releasing the first ever pickle sneaker coined “The Pickle.” This limited-edition Ewing Sport Lite releases March 4 exclusively on ewingathletics.com. Mike’s Hot Honey x Ewing Athletics Sport Lite

@ewingathletics and @mikeshothoney are excited to announce the release of The Hot Honey Sport Lite, a new sneaker collaboration. The sneaker will be available in limited quantities starting at midnight, Friday, April 14th exclusively on ewingathletics.com and mikeshothoney.com.

This limited edition Ewing Athletics Sport Lite model features premium white leather and burgundy suede, an ode to Mike's Hot Honey founder Mike Kurtz's high school (Amherst Regional) and college (UMass) colors and official brand colors of Mike's Hot Honey. The gum outsole represents the wildflower honey used in Mike's signature recipe.

Other details include New York Knicks Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing's signature on the midsole, the Mike's Hot Honey bee embroidered on the heel and the Mike's Hot Honey master logo embossed on the tongue. The insole features both the Ewing Athletics and Mike's Hot Honey logos.

Each pair ships with a set of alternate burgundy laces and an actual jar of Mike's Hot Honey inside the shoe box for customers to enjoy on their next slice of pizza.

The two brands will celebrate the launch this Thursday, April 13th, 7-10pm @laams.nyc featuring @premiumpete & friends and vinyl sets by @recordsbywoof, @wifiog & @delaceiba. Limited pairs of the sneakers will be available for sale at the event.
