It's hard not to intervene each time the younger people you are responsible for may be at risk, especially if you are quite powerful and could neutralize the danger in two seconds - but if they did that, they would have robbed the Misfits of an occasion to grow Also, both Opera and Kalego were conscious of Mephisto's and Zebubra's skills, so they knew their intervention was unnecessary, and they stayed put but alert Look at them, such intense gazes - I love these panels

I actually jumped up from my chair & started punching the air in my excitement!!! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!! I AM LOVING THIS SO MUCH!!! GODDAMN THIS WAS A GOOD CHAPTER. I love the lore history type stuff. I would read a whole textbook on it, seriously. But that little twist at the end, I hoped, I prayed I was right, AND I WAS. I FUCKING WAS. THIS IS THE BEEEEEST.
