The moment in Arboretum when the tank gets cocky and asks: “Big pulls?”, but does not use any cooldowns, dies and the healer is blaming himself.
Well, I have to admit the healer was not the best, but this was not his fault. This was the slowest run I have ever had on an expert dungeon. Why? Because the tank tried to speed it up.
If you are not feeling comfortable with it, do not do big pulls! Seriously, do small pulls in that case. It is so much more time efficient than trying the big pulls, but dying all over. Also the honeycomb in Arboretum: If you do not feel comfortable, just kill the mobs. I rather kill the mobs so nobody dies than waiting for people that just died, because of final sting.
Just because many people do speed runs, just because many people can do big pulls or that honeycomb thing, you do not have do that! All too often I experienced this even to be way slower. It is faster, indeed, but only when successful.
We are not on the run. It is just an Expert Dungeon. It is awesome if it is fast, but all too often it was slower than it needed to be, because people wanted to speed it up. No, it does not speed it up. It is quite the opposite. All the waiting time, all the downtime is far more exhausting than just doing a “normal” run. At least it is to me.
Do not get me wrong. If you are practicing it is fine for me. Just say it. I will not leave because of that. I am going to help you practicing! Also I do not mind if mistakes happen. They happen. We are human. But when someone gets cocky or does not really bother to put any effort in playing and thus making the run slower or harder I am not amused.
