Can I have some headcanons for when Eragon accidentally dropping through a portal or smth in out world, and meeting their soulmate there?
-It takes three days for him to say his first sentence that’s not a question.
-It’s... a lot. Eragon’s completely stunned that another world like his exists and that it’s so different. He has a couple of breakdowns at first since he’s completely overwhelmed with how different everything is. It’s certainly one hell of a paradigm shift.
-He misses all of the friends he knew and their diverse races. It takes him a while to get use to the idea that earth doesn’t have dwarves, elves, urgals, or dragons. He does love to see tons of diverse people all in one place though. In Alagaesia, things are still quite seperated by race and class.
-Eragon’s prone to interrogating people. He knows that one person’s life experiences can be completely different from someone else’s and he wants to hear from every person that he can. He sometimes forgets his manners in his curiosity and oversteps his bounds (he’s trying though).
-Dear lord don’t ever give him a screwdriver. He’s 100% ready to disassemble anything he doesn’t understand, which, in the modern world, is just about everything.
-He really wants to be able to help everyone with his magic. In hospitals especially, he’ll often put his own health at risk trying to heal everyone that modern medicine can’t help.
-Schools!! He loves the idea of schools and loves to hear about them from different kids. And LIBRARIES!!!??!?!?!? He can stay there for days.
-As for an S/O, they would definitely have to be open minded. Eragon learns early on that using magic is a super fast way to get people to freak out, so it takes a long time for him to trust them enough to show him.
-It would be hard to believe his tale, but once he finally has someone who actually thinks he’s telling the truth, it’d be a huge relief.
-Patience is a must. Eragon never runs out of questions.
