So... I decided I needed a break from anxiously watching the hits creep up on Fireworks'. I couldn't settle to editing some chapters on IYCSAN, and I needed a break planning Thedb (my nanowrimo fic). So what do I do? Real work, read a fic? No. I start doing historical research in order to place the sequel to After The Siege. Of course I do. *face palms*
Ugh, well only about 1000 words left plus those extra paragraphs. So, not too bad really! Just gotta do some research tomorrow before I can finish up.
I reckon I could post on Saturday, maybe even tomorrow... I might wait ‘til mid week though to try and get a slightly higher hit count though!
The last chapter tanked and it made me sad (Expect for my one lovely regular commenter on this fic! Thank you! <3 )

Because everyone needs to adhere to arbitrary deadlines of their other halves getting home from work...!
So. I have 50 mins and 5250 words to edit and a minimum of two big paragraphs to add in.... I don't imagine f&ls will be done tonight..... boo.
I'm not taking part in 1k1h today as, firstly, I missed this morning's due to busyness and, secondly, I have decided to edit (insert dramatic organ music,) which usually leaves me with a lower word count than I started with! Naturally though that is not the case today. I also discovered that my last chapter of Fireworks' was cut off early (although it finished nicely,) so that was short and this one will probably end up 2000 words longer than the others and twice as long as that one! It's all a bit of a balls up really!
Oh noes! Falling at the first hurdle with my writing today. Open doc. Stop. Hmm.
Ooookay. That is the last chapter of Fireworks and Lightning Strikes notated to fook. Still needs the re-write, and I’m not actually sure I’m happy with the end. But at this point I think I’m just going to do some silly timestamps to cover latter events, rather than extend the story. It’s come to a natural close sort of.
With any luck I’ll have this part out by next week.
