[text]: I’m on my way up
[text]: Your husband is with Bob and Bob isn’t drinking so he’ll keep him in line.
Once Willam texted that he hopped on his hoverboard and rolled down the halls to the elevator and took it upstairs. When he reached the floor the queen rolled down the hall and knocked on Courtney’s door, waiting for the other to answer.
Finally, when she did, Willam rolled in and rolled over to the bed, “You seem down.” The queen stated, not deciding to sugarcoat the reason behind his trip.
Courtney reclaimed her sat on her bed after letting Willam in, folding her legs beneath her and leaning back against the wall of pillow’s she’d created. Her face was still painted (she’d actually started doing more ‘drag’ makeup lately) but her wig was off and she was in her boy PJs, which consisted of a grey cotton shirt and shorts, with her laptop out on her bed. “I’m actually not so bad,” she said in response.
She was a little confused about Bianca, since she’d never gotten her answer, but she was a little less worried about getting that answer now that she’d made peace with Adore. And Willam telling her that Bianca was wasted helped too, not that drunkenness excused anyone’s behavior, but it sort of did.
“I finally got to talk to Adore and I feel so much better about everything right now. Thank you for checking up on me though. I’m just going to give B some space until she’s ready to talk to me again. It feels like we’re sort of unofficially having our first fight, but at the same time we’re not really fighting, so I’m not sure what this is.” Her tone was actually relatively calm as she admitted this, as was her painted face. She may have had a little moment earlier when she went to use the lavatory but as soon as she was back out in public, she put her stage face back on and that was pretty much that.
Courtney: The whole week leading up to Christmas had been seriously emotionally taxing on Shane, as much as he tried to ignore it and instead enjoy running around and kissing strangers and friends alike under Courtney's ball of mistletoe. The cause of it? Bianca. Bianca getting all sweet(?), intense, and intimate with him one night, only to up and leave before he even woke up. Shane normally wouldn't have a problem with it, but the two of them had made it a habit to stick around. Because they were best friends first and friends with benefits second. Except that night felt far too intimate to be simply a result of a 'friends with benefits' agreement. Shane had been slightly upset to wake up cold and alone that morning, really craving the warmth of another body, but he probably wouldn't have thought much about it if Bianca didn't become so difficult to track down right after.
Shane had told Willam about it one day, wanting to express his frustrations because his gratuity journal just wasn't cutting it for once. Alaska had her own Sharon drama to deal with and Willam was his best friend, so he could stand to put up with his bitching.
The frustration dissolved closer to Christmas as he tried to look at the situation from all kinds of perspectives, trying to read into what Bianca must have been thinking, and then it suddenly clicked when he found the gift from Bianca. Or at least he was a good 98 percent sure that his hunch was right, and that was good enough for him.
About two hours before the masquerade ball, Courtney let herself into Willam's room, her hands full of clothes, hair and make up that she proceeded to dump onto Willam's bed. She had already started on her face but had ultimately decided that she needed to bother Willam about this. "Bill, look what Bianca gave me," she said without so much as a hello, bounding up to stand beside Willam as she held out the charm on the necklace that was already around her neck, looking far too pleased and happy.
Willam: For a good week Willam had to put up with Courtney and Bianca drama and as the week drew to a close the man was ready to shove someone into a wall. Now, that being said he wasn't saying that he wanted to murder Courtney or Bianca or that he didn't love both of them, but fuck the Aussie of it all got a bit annoying at some point even past the love of friendship and all that good shit. Willam still had to deal with his own shit with consisted of 1) Detox asking him to be his Guinea pig with trying out a monogamous relationship 2) his back 3) detox withholding his drag 4) Lack of tops. The whole thing was quite bothersome and Willam really just wanted to be that trani godmother and fix it all, but he knew he couldn't, though he still tried in his own special Willam way.
The man, thankfully, got his makeup and some of his drag back from detox for Christmas so he was ACTUALLY able to put on a face and he had been able to go shopping that week so he picked out a Versace dress, matching silver Louboutins, a wigs by vanity wig, and a beautiful silver mask. Overall today Willam was finally in a fucking amazing mood and nothing and no one could rain on it.
So, to proceed with the fabulous day the man showered, dried his hair, shave, then started to apply his make up. When he was about halfway done was when Courtney came into his room and showed him the necklace. When he first saw it he thought maybe Bianca had come to her senses, but after a long moment he quickly scratched that idea, "It's nice." He nodded, "And real, which is a plus, but you're like the Aussie incarnation of Satan, right?" The queen teased laughing at his own joke before he started his wait for Courtney to probably explode with multiple Aussie phases as she raved about Bianca or something, but Willam also knew it was his duty as a friend to tell the other what he thought was up, but he figured maybe he should hear out what Courtney actually thought first.
Courtney: Courtney looked down to the necklace charm in her hand for a moment before letting go and letting it fall back against her collarbone area. "I'm just glad she is finally over it. The whole avoiding me and avoiding her feelings thing." She paused for a moment as she patted her blending brush against her palm before looking up into the mirror and beginning to blend the rest of her face as she continued. "I'm like 98 percent sure that's what it was because the whole dynamic was different and it was the first time he walked out on me in the middle of the night since we've been here. He probably freaked out but I'm going to make it easier on him and tell him I like him first so he has nothing to worry about--oh!" She cut off her own rant, turning back towards Willam. "I got Bianca a surprise and it will surely seal the deal tonight, even if she's still hesitating about trying out the relationship thing with me. I secretly got her dogs here and I know she will love me for it." The smile never left her face as she ranted off all the things that she was expecting to happen tonight, not even considering the possibility of something going wrong in her plan.
Willam: Willam stood there, looking at himself in the mirror as he listened to his friend. The other was getting way to excited over a hunch and Willam had a very bad feeling nothing was going to go as planned, "Court, I'm not saying that Bianca didn't confess her feelings via that necklace, but I'm also not saying that you shouldn't leave room in your head and heart in case you're wrong. Know I don't want you to be because you're already like plus sized girl in real life and we can't afford you binge eating vegan ice almond sweet thing that isn't cream because we need to get gigged, but I know Bianca pretty well and he seems blunt to me. Like, he'd be the one confessing to you or something. " Willam said before he started to do his lips, hoping that Courtney would understand that maybe now wasn't the night or maybe the night was never, but he didn't want her to get hurt all the same and he didn't want her friendship with Bianca to end either because that would mean clingy Courtney and she may as well just move in at that point and he still needed some time for trade and himself.
Courtney: "Even better if I don't have to officially make the first move," Courtney replied, not really phased by Willam's doubt. In fact she found it super endearing how Willam was actually concerned for her under his mask of insults and she would have probably tried to kiss him to annoy him further were they not pressed for time. "I just hope I can still somewhat do the monogamy thing in case B wants that," she said instead as she put on her mascara and proceeded to sift through her lashes for the right ones.
Willam: Once Willam was done applying his lip the queen looked at himself for a long moment before he glanced to Courtney, "I would imagine an old man like her would want that considering that was the it thing back in his day, but Court the dogs are a nice Christmas gift, but I don't think you're going to be tying the knot." He said honestly, not bothering with the good feeling filter he always ignored anyway. The man then took a deep breath before he headed back into the room and started to put on his dress and breasts, "There's a large possibly you might get hurt Court and even if you might not like it you're responsible for most of that hurt because of how much you're building this necklace up. Like, it's real gold and stuff, but what did the note say? Only put out if he's offering money." Willam said, not even caring about how fucking rude he sounded at this point.
Courtney: "Good, I'm not trying to tie the knot," Courtney said once her first lash was securely on. She wasn't sure what it was but she wanted to be Roy's favorite... something. Ever since Roy called her his favorite pet, she guessed she wanted more of that. "When isn't there a possibility of getting hurt, Will? I'm a big girl. I already spent last Valentine's Day alone crying and writing sad lyrics on snapchat because I got stood up. This can't end more pathetically than that was." She stopped talking to concentrate on applying the second lash.
Willam: "He's just Bianca. That's all I'm saying." The man said, hoping the Aussie registered who he was getting his hopes up for. Like, some random trade or even a friend they could probably be replaced, but Roy he was her season sister and someone who Willam doubted Courtney could ever replace, but obviously the blonde wasn't hearing it so Willam just shrugged, zipped up his dress, and walked back over to his bed. The man then picked up the mask that he laid out and walked over to the mirror to fasten it properly to his face.
Courtney: Willam's implication went straight over Courtney's head as she finished applying the second lash, adjusting it until it looked perfectly in place and matched the first. She gave her face a look over, pursing her lips at her reflection before putting her things away and rejoining Willam in his room to get dressed as well. "It'll be fine. And Alaska will be happily bragging about how she was right once it all works out." Courtney got her dress out from under the wrap that was covering it and lay it out on the bed, taking her Wigs by Vanity wig to put on and style first, half wishing she could've gotten Bianca to do it for her.
Willam: At Courtney's reply Willam decided that the whole idea was going to flop and there was nothing he could do about it. With that decision the man slipped on his shoes, walked over to the mirror, and checked himself out one last time. Willam then grinned at himself in the mirror and ran his hands from his wig down his body, "She is a woman, yaaaas." He said, touching his skin once more before he looked over at Courtney, "Hurry the fuck up. Your fuckin' winner is downstairs waiting for you and my chance at all the tops in the hotel is waiting for me." The man said, walking over to the door to wait for his friend.
Courtney: Courtney fluffed up her wig to look the way she wanted it to and made sure there were no blemishes on her face before turning to her dress. "I still have to tuck," she said, picking up her tucking tape from the bag she'd brought over. She walked into the bathroom and stripped down, not bothering to close the door as she carried out her tucking routine expertly. Maybe there was no point in doing this tonight since the dress pretty much covered everything up, but she didn't want to let it all hang out while she was feeling so pretty either. Once she made sure the tuck was firmly secure, she pulled her panties back up and returned to the room to get the dress on. "Can you help me zip it up, Will?" she asked as she slipped it on over her head and adjusted the tailored straps over her shoulders. Not wanting to keep him waiting any longer, she stepped into her shoes while they were doing that. The mask could go on in the elevator, she figured. Finally all dolled up and ready to go, Courtney stuffed her hotel room key into the stuffing on her chest and grabbed her phone and mask. "Ready! Let's go, Will."
