Few days ago, made this small comic about Mario and Peach having babies. Now I just wanna show the adult designs for them I've been cooking up in a while :D

Alas, Mario and Peach didn't named their kids "Mario Jr." and "Peach Jr.", or "Mareach" and "Peachio", fortunately. You can thank Luigi for that.

Marcel and Plum lives a fairly peaceful and happy life in the Mushroom Kingdom. Though consider their parent's legacy, a lot of expectation were put onto them

Back then, their dynamic was similar to Mario and Luigi. Marcel, much like Mario, is confident, energetic, and protective, and took her role as the heir to the throne very seriously. Though ruling wasn't her strong suit, she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, nor is she an eloquent speaker. She took after Mario instead, and become a self appointed royal knight, leaving behind her title as “princess”, as well as the throne to her younger brother. She loves her brother to death, but will always the first one to put her foot down if Plum step out of line.

When he was young, Plum was kind and quiet, and he suffered the same insecurities his uncle suffered through when being compared to his older sibling. Though in his teen years, the influences from his mother sharpened him and separated him from Marcel's shadow. After accepting the throne, he developed confidence, a strong sense of style... and maybe even an ego? He put his heart and soul into his image as a perfect, pristine ruler, like his mother back in the day. He's gentle and fair, but loses his temper easily and isn't above using trickery to get his ways.

Other little facts about them:

Marcel got a gig at the circus. She's a skilled acrobat and performer, and loves putting a smile on children's face.

Marcel trains the Toads to improve the kingdom's military. Though with Bowser being old and Bowser Jr being a more heroic version of his father, the kingdom doesn't seems to need much protecting... for now.

Marcel have a friendly rivalry with Bowser Jr.

The magic umbrella Marcel used was created by her mother. It can be used both as a lance when closed, and as a shield when opened.

Plum got a chain chomp pet named "Glitter". He received it from his uncle as a child, and he spoiled it until it became a giant hassle for everyone in the castle to deal with.

Plum actually has perfect eyesight. The glasses are a fashion statement (plus he likes to look smart).

One time, Plum dyed his hair brown and switched place with Luigi, just to prank his father.

I'm still debating so this is not concrete yet, but I'm thinking of Plum being genderfluid. He/she could be both a prince and a princess depends on the day.

Do you have any sketches of early designs of Blueberry tart? Sorry to bother I just really love his design and he's so adorable I get cuteness aggression when I see the little guy.

i caught on blueberry's design pretty quick, but theres a lot of art of them i havent shared heh

their adult design under the cut, its a little more uncertain but its generally the end goal i want (along with non-dramatic pv and sm interactions (oh and a sibling design. not canon. probably.))

i had one more drawing of them but i dont know where it is... i need to find it
