It’s been made clear time and time again that the narrative that “larries ruined Harry and Louis’ friendship” was a 1D marketing strategy to pin fans against each other to tamp down on larry rumors and generate more fan engagement. Hell, it works to this day and the band isn’t even active anymore. 

It has also been shown time and time again that their friendship was never ruined, and Louis himself called bullshit on articles that claimed that. It has been shown that their management actively tried to make it look like Harry and Louis didn’t speak or spend time together, even while in the band. They tried to make it look like they didn’t even travel in the same planes together. But we know that is all fake and part of the closeting that was enforced by Modest to hide their relationship and gaslight fans. And in fact, the opposite is true: they did talk, spend time together and travel together. They shared rooms and dressing rooms - we have proof of all that.

One Direction didn’t so much need marketing and PR for the band, they needed it most to manage the fanbase. And this was a part of it. And it was insanely effective PR, unfortunately.

This reminded me that Supernatural has always been about more than the queerbaiting, fridging, sexism, and weird persistant fetishization of Asian women we've had to put up with in order to see Misha and Jensen take the material to another level.

WE saw the best in it and it brought out the best in us. Misha showed us the power each person can have as a force for good and this feels like a lovely tribute.

Love to you all and especially to the beautiful souls who started this Castiel Project. You reminded me to have faith in us. Can't wait until more of us are in writer's rooms and director's chairs. This is only the beginning!
