I've been here for years. I've second hand experiencenced many of your fandom intrests. NARUTO IS ETERNAL.

Naruto comes back every three or four years and I am helpless to stop it. I’ve spent the past year warily eyeing it like “Will you at least let me finish my current projects for Girl Genius before you get in my face and drag me back into Ninja Land?” and the answer is no.

Which is a shame, because I really want to finish my GG fics

5) character you were most surprised to end up writing?

Ohh, there’s a first characters who come to mind!

1. Obito, because...y’know, it’s Obito LOL I didn’t plan on introducing him so early on in the story, but I ended up getting a whole bunch of ideas on the overarching plot of SATOKO, and introducing him so early was the first step!

2. Tadashi & Miyako, the two assassins that Satoko interrogated in chapter 15. They originally were just going to be throwaway, filler characters who were just going to give Satoko and the readers more information, but after a few drafts they ended up getting fleshed out into characters with way more depth and nuance. I super prefer how they turned out compared to what they were supposed to be :D

3. The Caravan Members weren’t supposed to be super invested in the mission arc either, tbh. It actually has everything to do with why they weren’t very well elaborated on when I first introduced them, because I didn’t think it’d be that important to remember who’s who LOL If I could rewrite the scene, I’d give them more opportunities to establish their distinct personalities better to make them easier to remember.

basically the entire caravan mission was me pulling so much bullshit out of my ass right at the last minute and desperately trying to scavenge the mess i’d created into a coherent arc, which i think i managed to do pretty damn will with the help of my betas! love u guys <3

My god, I thought I was all alone on hating Mashima! I'm glad to see that I'm not alone on this endeavor, 'cuz I had only seen complaints for the fandom (which I dare not touch). Kinda glad I dropped the anime at the start of the Eclipse Arc. These past few days I had been thinking that this series needs a complete Re-write/Fix-it fic, maybe I'll do it one day. Any fic recs by any chance?

Afraid not! I’ve heard things about re-hauls from some other people, but no word on any finished products or started projects yet. Once I get some time away from college and get done with a fix fic for another series I’m writing, I might start an outline for a Fairy Tail rewrite.
