This is, quite frankly, the weirdest fucking thing to put in this book. The sex stuff is weird but like... standard incel weird. Why is pectus in your book as a randomly generated congenital birth defect.

"We couldn't find any evidence of venereal disease existing at that time" (European middle ages) OH YOU COULDN'T HUH?????

Like this was a fairly well documented thing in ancient Greece and Rome, you're just a coward and your work is inaccurate as fuuuuuuuuck and colored by your biases

Jack said it feels like the creator copy-pasted an article about diseases and just made one or two edits, because his specific "voice" is missing in that section

Jack also said that some of the modifiers on rolls aren't inherently bad and an interesting mechanic, and I gotta trust him on this one because I don't have the technical GM brain like he does

It's worth noting (again) that canonically the game was explicitly like "everyone is ethnically white in this setting"

Nunu just spent a large chunk of the "sexual traits section" looking like he'd just swallowed an entire colony of cockroaches and woefully cuddling one of my stuffed animals

Once again, lots of modern words to describe things that people in the setting would not know at all, slang stuff like "chode" and "bad trip"

I have never rolled so many 1d100s in my whole entire life

I had to read this man (the creator) write about pregnancy and fertility rolls for sperm and menstruation and the hymen so yes I did join Nunu in "hug a stuffed animals to keep yourself from falling into despair" mode

Jack: "No you could just have a super hymen. A super strong hymen." Nunu: "And you wouldn't have lost your virginity." Me: "Correct per the book if your hymen is strong enough you will be a virgin forever."

We are STILL not done with character creation, but we are onto skills next!

How badly will this game fumble other topics in the name of pretend accuracy and thoroughness?

So yeah, unfortunately we (me and Jack) are still having fun with character creation. It sucks, in the kind of morbid fascination way. Our plan is to build characters the way the game intends first, then to make a second set of characters we can actually play with. I still don't understand how I'm supposed to play a baby in this setting.

Once again, not recommended and only entertained because Pervert Chat is abhorrent freaks with something deeply wrong with them.

Then we played Expedition 33, which was very good, as a treat for Nunu for all of the torment.
