                        it was probably a good thing that this entire interview was PRE-TAPED. he tried to stay in character but a slip of the tongue from katherine and he was cracking up. it was cute, though, the way she tried to handle regaining her composure. eventually they got through his promo on why he shouldn’t be wrestling  r a n d o m  performers each week and he should be getting his universal title back that he never lost. after the cameras stopped rolling, he couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear. 

                        ‘ ye did fine, lass. don’t beat yourself up TOO bad. raw’s a bit more t’reatenin’ t’an 205, i imagine. ye’ll get t’ hang of it, ’ he tried to reassure her that things would be better in time; a bit of advice that fergal often gave out.

                        getting back home after smackdown was always a joy. he got to see his two favorite ladies and this week was an  e s p e c i a l l y  joyous occasion. bryan arrived home to see that brie had already dropped off birdie and the immediate sight he saw was nadia sitting on the sofa with birdie under the guidance of katherine. the sheer happiness he exuded was INFECTIOUS with the smile that spread wide across his face. bryan sat his bags down and closed the front door before heading over to see the three girls together. ‘ if this isn’t the best sight i’ve seen in a long while, i don’t know  w h a t  is, ’ he smiled before heading to greet kat first. he kissed her cheek with a smile, scruff rubbing her soft flesh. attention turned to his daughter and kat’s ( whom at this point had become as adoptive as it came ) with his smile only growing wider. ‘ hey you! is birdie giving you any grief? you know she’s a little trouble maker, right? doesn’t that sound like someone ELSE we know? ’ he teased, alluding to the mischief that nadia was capable of getting into.

The compliment was, in his eyes, a simple one. She very clearly had a nice smile and telling her such is an instinct, how could one not ? Then seeing her reaction, watching her face brighten and that smile appear, m e l t s his insides and he almost forgets how to speak. “Please, Okada is so formal. You can use my first name if you wish.” A warm smile spreads over his face, laughing softly as it does. “Extra adorable ? I don’t know if this is possible, I’m already the cutest.”
