Not sure if this would wake any ES up, and I realize they abound in many different countries, but I wanted to share an observation. I'm in the US, and been -minimally- aware of a few ES "theories" (e.g. I stop by from time to time), and recently learned of the baby nonsense. ES remind me most of the Qanon folks who believe and post the most ridiculous, made up crap. Think about that ES for a second. For those of you who think Qanon and it's followers are cuckoo. That's how you look to most of us.

I appreciate you reaching out with this, Anon. But after being in this fandom for 7 years, I know that for the truly entrenched Extreme Shippers NOTHING will make them see reality. 

Everyone and their mother, literally Cait's mother, told them that Sam and Cait weren't a couple in real life. They said they'd only believe if it Sam AND Cait said so themselves on VIDEO. Sam and Cait said so in the Kristin Dos Santos video. They said they'd only believe it if Cait or Sam became engaged to someone else. Tony put on a ring on it. They said they'd only believe it if one of them got married. Cait and Tony became The McGills on August 10, 2019, legally, and for good measure, religiously IN A CATHOLIC CHURCH in front of their friends, family, God, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, The Virgin Mary, all the angels in Heaven...and Mr. Sam Heughan. They said they'd only believe it if Cait had Tony's baby. Wellll, baby Balfe McGill was just born and Cait HERSELF announced it. 

You can see what's coming next right? Digging for the birth certificate to see who's listed as the father and/or demanding a paternity test at a lab of ES's choosing. And even if all that craziness happened, ES would still find a way to explain it away. You know why? Because THEY DON'T WANT THE TRUTH. They’ve said as much.

And there are faux shippers in this fandom who know this and take advantage of it. Whether it's by milking these gullible ES out of their disposable income via websites, events, or merchandise. OR by continuing a false narrative to string ES along, because they know they have a captive audience of women who are SO lacking something in their own lives that they would see the evidence above and DISMISS it. Because the SamCait fantasy is too much of a drug. It gives them a high...and there's nothing like chasing that high. It would be sad, and I would have pity on them, if the majority of them hadn't been such assholes to everyone who told them the TRUTH. They only have themselves to blame for their continued misery. The rest of us are HAPPY because we came to terms with the fact that Sam and Cait are great friends and costars, they promoted their show brilliantly, but they are not a couple in real life. And Cait has her fairytale ending with Tony, a REAL love story. That's a high that lasts a life time. I'd take that over the transitory 5 second crack high ES get every time they think the ship has been revived.

Anyhoo, I've given up on the truly out of touch with reality ES, I'm still here to steer any new fans in the right direction...to stay on terra firma where we never get seasick and where we experience REAL joy...as opposed to sailing on the Flying Dutchman SamCait faux ghost ship to NOWHERE, where they stock up on economy size boxes of Dramamine and hold on tight for the rollercoaster that is their ship of lies.

I’m new to OL fandom and started following recommended accounts on tumblr. But stopping most now as can’t handle the mean girls and their hatred of SH. Why are they obsessed with him if he upsets them so much. They find out everything they can to just be negative about him. I don’t get it. They act like he’s personally hurt them so they are going to find fault with everything he does. Why waste their time on someone they don’t know and who doesn’t owe them anything

Hi, Anon. It doesn't make sense to normal, emotionally mature, sane people, does it?

Most of them are disgruntled ex-shippers, who, once they realized they'd wasted their time on a faux ship, set out to "burn down the fandom."

Some aren't outright shippers, but "mean girls" who get off on what they consider "snark," when it's actually assholery.

Ex-shippers gravitate to the mean girls because they can vent their frustrations about Sam and Cait to them, and the mean girls will take it to the next level.

I do think some of them feel like Sam has personally hurt them, so now he must pay. They can't own up to the fact that THEY chose to continue believing Sam and Cait were a real couple, LONG after everyone and their mother (literally Cait's mother) and including Sam and Cait themselves, gave plenty of proof that Sam and Cait were not together. They can't accept accountability for their own actions. And so, they blame everyone else, especially Sam because they thought he was the captain of their ship. They feel betrayed by him.

You ask "why waste their time on someone they don't know who doesn't owe them anything?" That's a great question to ask them. They obviously get something out of being bitter bitches. Pathetic, isn’t it?

I just hv to say. I hv never seen a more bizarre and outrageous fandom who would do anything to prove their ship legit and real. Digging for marriage certs...really??? I cant imagine the amount of hate and disrespect sam and cait has gotten from these people. Absolutely disgusting.

The way Extreme Shippers have treated Sam and Cait IS absolutely disgusting, Anon. And not only Sam and Cait, but ANYONE and EVERYONE who got in the way of their fantasy. And sadly for them, everyone in the fandom, and outside the fandom knows it.

Extreme Shippers' WORDS and ACTIONS have solidified them as the worst of the worst. And both Sam and Cait are VERY aware of how far ES have taken it in their pointless quest to prove their faux ship is real. Well, it's not...and NEVER was. I don't know everything, but I DO know with 100% certainty (in 2014 insider sources gave me the info and I shared it with the fandom then) that Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan are NOT a couple in real life. They only play one on TV. That's all, folks.

Why is it ALWAYS these conspiracy theories with Extreme Shippers? Why can’t you ever just see what the rest of us see? REALITY. 

Hot actor is dating hot model and since they can both afford to travel, they decided to go into seclusion in a private home AWAY from people. And since they both are active on social media and both post when they go on trips, they did what they NORMALLY do, posted from their trip. That’s it. That simple. What they’re doing or posting HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU, or me, or anyone. Listen closely: THEY ARE NOT THINKING ABOUT YOU. Please repeat that several times, and while you’re at it, tell the voices in your head as well.

Sam and Gia are in a beautiful place alone, with all the time in the world. None of us is even a bleep on their radar. Let me list all of the things Sam and Gia are thinking about before they would even come up for air to even remember they have fans: beach, pineapples, whisky, great sex, TMGD, Gia’s perfect body, Sam’s perfect body, great sex, pineapple, whisky, beach, great sex, sunsets on the beach, great sex, pineapple, whisky, great sex. Lather, rinse, repeat. I can assure you that at NO point have either of them turned to the other and said “Hey, instead of “beach, pineapple, whisky, great sex, let’s spend some time trolling fans by *gasp* posting pics from our trip!” If you actually believe that, you need to tell that voice “Shhhh, that’s crazy talk.” Because it is. There’s no narrative, there’s no strategy. It’s LITERALLY, a hot actor and a hot model spending time together in a beachfront home. That’s it.

So, whatever else Sam and Gia post, even if it is a pic together will HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU, OR ME, OR ANYONE ELSE. Is every celebrity who posts pics from trips posting “innuendo,” or sending fans “secret messages?” You realize that’s literally what someone with psychosis thinks--that others are sending them secret messages or doing something to specifically target them. It’s not normal thinking. And before I get the inevitable frothy Anons or a certain blogger chastising me for trying to “irresponsibly“diagnose people. I’m not diagnosing anyone. Thinking that Sam and Gia are sending fans secret messages IS totally out of touch with reality, and I’m not going to sugarcoat it. 

So, please save your conspiracy theories and insane ideas for people who are still sailing on a faux ship to nowhere. No one over here on Terra Firma wants to hear anything other than what’s REAL and TRUE. Capisce?

My first reaction is: at this point, who cares? *yawn* It's all ancient history. FACT: Sam and Mackenzie dated for 2 years and they are no longer together. Any old pics of them that are unearthed now are really beside the point. ANOTHER FACT: Extreme Shippers hide, have hidden, and will continue to hide pics that go against their faux SamCait ship. Same shit, different year. Again, *yawn* It's not a big, shocking, "oh my God" moment anymore. At least not for me.

It shows former shipper K’s original eyewitness account of going to Cait fiance’s Tony’s bar and getting confirmation that Cait and Tony were dating (first posted in the Spring of 2015). Then come back here to read Part 2.

What I’m posting in THIS post are the screencaps of former SamCait shipper K’s follow up post one year later when she gave MORE DETAIL about her visit to Tony’s bar AND where she recounts how she was bullied by her former shipper besties, as well as banished from shipperville for posting ship sinking info aka the truth. 

As I said in Part 1, please remember that K was not just some random shipper, she was Jess aka jamesandclairefraser’s close friend and K had the second most popular and most followed shipper Tumblr blog, right below Jess. She and Jess were thick as thieves, and she was part of the shipper inner circle…yet when she DARED to post the truth, she was instantly persona non grata. The screencaps below are proof positive that Extreme Shippers try to hide the truth, that they bully those who post the truth, and that they go as far as turning on their best friends if they threaten the SamCait ship. In other words, there is NOTHING Extreme Shippers won’t do to keep their faux ship afloat. Pathetic, isn’t it?

So, there you have it…Extreme Shippers would eat their young if it meant keeping the SamCait ship afloat. After reading this, NO ONE can say that Extreme Shippers are “nice,”that they “don’t lie,” that they “don’t turn” on their friends, that they “don’t bully,” K’s experience PROVES just the OPPOSITE. Current Extreme Shippers take heed: your ES bestie today could turn on you tomorrow on a moment’s notice…because the friendship is built on a pack of LIES. 

PS. This also PROVES Jess and other Extreme Shippers have KNOWN with 100% certainty from a shipper who used to be in their inner circle, since the Spring of 2015 (3 YEARS), that Cait and Tony are a couple (THREE years). Ask yourselves why they CONTINUE to LIE to their followers.
