man I’ve debated this time and time again since it’s between 1 and 2 with an honourable mention to the pilot. the problem is that i feel like both the games have relatively the same amount of successes and flaws in a way i just can’t decide. 1 introduced me in like a creepy way while 2 just had me about to cry. if i have to come down to it i guess i would say 2 since its just easier to analyse from and look into. i had more fun looking into every frame from 2 than 1 maybe. it was more visually appealing cuz some quality went up, the tapes are more interesting and lore filled, and CS is there (MY SON) so yeahhh probably the second one

Out of all the classic TR games, I'm particularly obsessed with the third entry in the original timeline and AOD. I’m especially fond of the darker, atmospheric, and lore-heavy writing of AOD as well as the globe-trotting expedition, grotesque mutants, and pervasive mystery of the meteoric artifacts in Tomb Raider III. In all honesty, the five meteoric stones are my all-time favourite artifacts from the entire franchise.

I also quite enjoy the first TR game! I'm fascinated by the game's unique twist on the lost island of Atlantis and how it serves as an epic yet humble beginning to Lara's most memorable adventures.

The games that have shaped me! I'm more of a fall in love with a whole franchise, than play hundreds of different games type of person. I chose the ones that are not only favourites, but that have stuck with me, or that I have been consistently obsessed with.

Also, I did want to go for more of a variety, but in the end, I've been playing Rockstar's games pretty much my whole life, even in the phase where I wasn't that much of a gamer, so it's no surprise that there are four titles from them in here. I'll give an honourable shout out to Far Cry 4 & Fallout: New Vegas. One of them would have been my 10th spot!
