someone has probably made a post about this before, but here's a fun little video comparing john's voice inflections if you refuse his game vs immediately saying yes
spoiler alert: he's so excited if you say yes that he's breathless
Warnings: John Seed. DUH! mentions of canon typical violence and drug use, brief Seed sibling mentions. Reader does NAWT want him.. [or at least not as badly as John wants them. They're lowkey freaked out for eachother], I think I accidentally wrote him a little stalker-y.. which can sort of make sense but just know it was an accident.
Summary: just a cute little something I thought I would write up to one, start this blog off, and two, pass the time while waiting for my Valentines date. (I love my husband) HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, IF YOU DONT HAVE A VALENTINE LET JOHN SEED BE YOUR VALENTINE!! Or me, Ill be an honorary valentine too!
- John is not a quiet man. He is loud and boisterous, a showman. Everything you see is almost always a facade put in place to misdirect you of his true nature. There are however times in which he calms himself and allows a free moment to do one of his favourite hobbies.
- Fuck with the resistance, or more specifically one resistance member in particular. [He would LOVE to fuck them too!]
- The deputy can have their fun wreaking their havoc all they want but they will never catch John's eyes the way his dear Y/n had. Effortlessly drawing his eyes to them no matter the situation, although they fight against their atonement John has to admit that they fight with such conviction. Its almost a turn on. Alright fine, it absolutely is a turn on, but he doesn't have to say it out loud.
- Let's say you don't live in Fall's End but somewhere in the surrounding area. A nice little riverside home not too far from the small town and somewhere between it and John's Ranch. Mostly out of the way of the cultists and damn well guarded by you and your allies. Yet somehow, he always finds himself wandering by.
- John isn't really known for walking around Holland Valley, but the first time he did was the first time he saw you. At the time he and his brothers had just about arrived and their 'siege' of Hope County had yet to begin, he found the residents of the county to be a bit too hard headed for his liking and needed to clear his head.
- You were sat down by the water, just watching the movement of the water. A peaceful, happy and even serene scene laid out before him just ready for him to storm through but a pull in his chest stopped him. A stutter, a beat, a release of tension. You had yet to see him and so he took the opportunity to just watch. Watch the scenery around him, the fish that speed through the river and finally you. Except this time, you're looking back.
- A smirk pulls at his face and he couldn't help the almost childlike wave he sent your way. You offer a kind smile in return not knowing this man was planning on tearing your home apart under the guise of offering safety. "Are you new 'round here? Welcome to Hope Count!" Oh how you wish you hadn't welcomed him so warmly, you may as well have put a bright red target saying come get me over your head.
- Since that first encounter, John had found his way over to your side of the river (he def did not find the normal way, bro just swam fr he WANTS you.) and oh boy he had tried his best to win you over. Lets not forget how he was as a lawyer, he was absolutely a people magnet but when you discover what he and his family has begun you back off. You pull away from him and his affections, which only leads to John doing the normal thing. Return to silently watching you.
- Of course as things heat up in the valley, you know he's there. He always is. He doesn't move in anymore though. He simply stands in the spot you first found him and watches. Leading to you boarding up your windows. He just smiles and occasionally bites his lip at the sight of you.
- I like to imagine Jacob has brought up John's interest as an addiction, an extension of his sins. You are his sin. Of course John shuts the idea down. How could you be anything less than perfection?
- John Seed is loud, boisterous and temperamental, but you can draw him back in from oblivion and ground him back to the earth when he needs it.
