Just found out you can’t recruit Clarisse in New Mystery of the Emblem, only Katarina. My interest in playing it has now been atomized.

If anyone needs me, I’ll be trying not to cry. “[Fun fact:] Clarisse is the first female boss in the series who cannot be recruited” BECAUSE FUCK THIS GUY IN PARTICULAR I GUESS

I doodled these fan alts up in the Meet the Heroes style before the silhouettes on FEH were leaked. The silhouettes reminded me of Katarina and Clarisse, so... instead of squashing that hopeful thought, I decided to hype myself up instead by drawing fanalts for them, then being disappointed that when it wasn’t them. Typical me.

Anyway, Katarina would be a colourless staff infantry (not quite sure what the fire’s there for in terms of healing, but it’s summery), Clarisse would be a lance flier/infantry who literally hits you with a palm tree, and Legion – which is an extra since I just had to include him alongside the other two – would be a dagger infantry of some sort that throws tropical kebabs at people. I think he was influenced too much by Chrom, because I’m pretty sure people don’t usually put whole fruit on their kebabs.

Also, Legion is in a lifejacket. I like to imagine it’s because Clarisse stuck him in that because she didn’t want him drowning out there, no matter what she says, but in reality it’s because 1. I don’t know how to draw shirtless people, even in the Meet the Heroes Style, and 2. it looks way too plain without it. So there you go.

How about Legion, Clarisse, and Katarina trying to be a family without Eremiya's influence?

My first request! (Also, Clarisse and Legion deserved better.) This is based on FE12, rather than FEH.

Legion barely survives after confronting Marth’s army, only living from being spared.

Actually being treated nicely outside of Katarina and Clarisse in her odd way, the kindness of being spared is a very new sensation.

Legion definitely tries their hardest to help Marth’s army. All of them happily transporting equipment back and forth.

Once they confront and defeat Clarisse, Legion ends up sparing a very angry and betrayed Clarisse. With Katarina’s help, Clarisse recovers and knowing Eremiya would kill her for failing again, Clarisse definitely makes it her goal to kill Marth before returning to Eremiya.

With a lot of convincing from Katarina, and Legion being Legion, Clarisse ends up becoming neutral. She doesn’t join Marth’s army until Katarina ends up joining. Clarisse is reluctant and very much angry at first.

Seeing Legion happy, and the nice way everyone treats her and Katarina, Clarisse will fight for Marth until her death.

All three together, and without Eremiya is a liberating experience. Death is still around them, but Eremiya’s presence is a much worse thing to deal with.

Once Eremiya is killed and the War of Heroes finishes, Katarina still ends up serving Marth.

While Katarina serves as a battle tactician after the war, Clarisse and Legion end up as helpers of the Castle Guard/army. Both neither being part of them, but being willing to help whenever Katarina or Marth asks.

Without Eremiya the three of them can relax without fear of punishment.

All three deal with self-worth; Clarisse the worst of the three.But having each other, they assure them of their worth.

The three of them end up settling in Altea and end up becoming guardians of the local orphans, refusing to let them suffer as they did.

Katarina is very much in charge of most of the funds, Clarisse buying very frivolous items while Legion buys random things.

Clarisse will fight anyone who even thinks of criticizing Katarina or Legion. Or anyone who criticizes their home.

Legion becomes an icon in Altea, everyone thinks Legion are just all related in the same vein of Anna

All three of them buy random items for their house to the point that it’s decoration is a mish-mash of style. But it’s their house and their first home
