~*Tellius Character Art Restoration Project*~
enjoyed Senri Kita's character art work for Path of Radiance & Radiant Dawn, but your favorite character had only one tiny crappy jpg floating around in the wild?
you won't have to wait much longer ~
in this project, all of the character artworks will be restored with some degree of scanning, resizing, retouching, color-correcting, and outright repainting. a majority (50-60% of works) will be scanned by me from the artbooks from scratch; smaller percentages are restored-from-existing (relatively) high res official artwork images.
as of now, there are 35 Path of Radiance character artworks restored; see below for thumbnail examples and a zoomed in example.
there will be no watermarks, all images will have transparent backgrounds, be 300dpi and around 3000px on the longest side.
why? i do occasional photography retouching work at my dayjob and have ~15 years of professional experience with illustration, not to mention doing some pretty good senri-kita-stylistic look-alike pieces. :) felt like a shame that the artwork for all the characters technically exists but hasn't been amassed in one place in any consistency; this is the kind of project i like doing.
where will the final image dumps be posted? on my zihark fanshrine resource page where i've put other long-term Tellius resource projects including the travel time chart & location resource.
how can I keep updated with this project? follow this blog, or if you're uncomfortable with the occasional (unrelated) adult art here, the final finished character restoration post will likely be reblogged by @tellius.
