I know it's mainly because she's the protagonist.

But I think the fact that we've seen Marinette suffer multiple panic attacks, breakdowns, and nearly spill the beans to Adrien multiple times... And we've never seen Felix suffer any guilt, and even outright screamed at Adrien over information he's deliberately leaving him in the dark over speaks volumes.

Marinette sees Adrien as his own person. Felix sees Adrien as his cousin and, therefore, one of his possessions.

And yet the fandom acts like Marinette is scum of the earth and praises Felix nonstop. It's insane.

Trust Marinette more than Adrien about this secret..a secret that has everything to do with him mind you. Marinette has no stake in this, she can't get blipped out of existence, it wasn't HER parent that was a villain, it wasn't her life that got uprooted.

Marinette has no idea how to sympathize with this situation cuz she has NOTHING in common with anything thats going on, the only thing she has is shes Ladybug but even then she didnt do anything to try and figure out who Gabriel was. FELIX SPOON FED HER THAT INFORMATION. And the secrets about the power ups an shit?? Alya was working on that on the side lines while being her secret agent. So its not like shes a super trust worthy hero they can rely on either.

(Felix literally proves its hella easy to take the miraculous from her..CUZ IT TOOK HIM ONE(1) EPISODE TO DO SO.) And now suddenly, the guy who is pro senti-being and free will..is okay with giving his and his girlfriends amok to this girl who keeps failing at every turn?? And then he and Kagami dont even TRY to convince her to tell Adrien..dont even try to suggest maybe he should put his amoks somewhere SAFE.

What are the chances Felix and Kagami would've explained away Marinette breaking his[Adriens] amoks?? Cuz to me, it seems very likely. Since those two no longer have personalities besides "We love each other and Marinette is best girl 🥺"

Im still pissed about this and Adrien deserves to punch his cousin in the face.

Marinette breaking up with Adrien is not selfless: it's punishing Adrien for her inability to tell him the truth! It's selfish and awful : if he was allowed to be upset he would probably think HE did something wrong to make her broke up with him !

" You just can't handle complex characters like Marinette!" SHE.IS.NOT.COMPLEX: she is a selfish stalker who has everyone supports,lovely parents and it's a manipulator! If they wanted her to be a morally ambiguos character the writers shouldn't treat her like the victim and characters should be allowed to be mad at her without being considered " villains" for not worshipping her! Homura Akemi it's a tragic character but characters don't coddle her when she makes a shitty decision! Light Yagami and L were both killed for being shitty people and called out multiple times! You cannot be both complex and never face any consequences! Della duck got stranded on the moon for a decade,lost a limb,missed years of her kids lives and had to learn to be a mother! Sally Acorn had to become a leader at the age of 5 and was later abused by her dad : she is literally what you guys want Marinette to be yet she is called a slut!

I need to rant Felix just aggravates me soooo much especially the new episode...him yelling at Adrien really pissed me off cause he did the same thing but he actually KNOWS

It doesn't even compare. What's one unwitting command compared to having your free will sold to your abusive dad and your cousin didn't do shit until halfway through the season and his answer was a Thanos themed musical number? What Adrien did is but a droplet compared to the Olympic pool of fuckery Felix did to Adrien. Felix acts like a victim when he's the one holding all the cards and not sharing anything about the Senti thing with Adrien. He's just so incapable of giving even a drop of sympathy and understanding for his cousin who knew nothing.

Like, Felix, buddy, you put Adrien in a position of ignorance like everyone else. You have no right to complain if Adrien does anything wrong out of the ignorance you refuse to enlighten him from. Reap what you sow, ya hypocrite.

Okay, yk what I've realised?

That Gabriel, of all people, is one of the only people who has ever wanted to tell Adrien he's a senti. (If we go on the assumption that the last part of The Letter™️ was about Adrien being created by the peacock miraculous and that Gabriel was the one to write it)

Felix, the boy who has said that he wanted senti's to get freedom? No. He goes to sell out one of the rings (supposedly with Adrien's amok)to Gabriel, even though that only makes his "goal" for a "free world" harder for himself.

Marinette, Adrien's girlfriend? No. She goes on to kill him because she's too much of a coward to tell him any important information.

Nathalie, who is supposedly Adrien's new mother figure? No. She keeps the ring for herself, and instead of warning Adrien and giving him the ring, she does the bare minimum by keeping the ring for herself, and even when Adrien has the rings, she keeps her mouth shut.

(There's also Emelie, Amelie, maybe Kagami, probably Ms. Tsurugi, and some more characters that I probably forgot about)

My problem with Felix in Miraculous is that he's literally Adrien but with character development and plot importance.

An Adrien that discovered that he's a sentimonster, that discovered his mom gave her life so he could be born, that discovered Gabriel's identity, that reclaimed his freedom.

Instead of allowing Adrien to move the plot forward, they gave that role to Felix. Jesus this man doesn't even have 10 episodes in the entire show and has moved the plot ten times more forward than Adrien has ever done since S1.
