Would you believe that these gorgeous hand-painted leather shoes are actually based ceramic work by the artist, Fernanda Uribe? They are! Her Punto Verde Ceramics (based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn - see what she did there?), who describes her work as “the evolution of memories, relationships and interactions with my surroundings.”
I love how the stars and constellations look like sketches – after all, constellations the patterns, figures, and creatures we see in the stars, telling us about ourselves as well as our place in the cosmos.
