It's been a long time since I've done paleoart in my old style: a mix of fiber-pen illustration and digital painting. This is the first time using a graphic tablet for the painting part (yes, all my digital work, including vector art, was done with a mouse and keyboard).

This time I bring you Zupaysaurus rougieri, from late triassic Los Colorados Formation of the La Rioja province, Argentina.

This set of Ditko faces come from different eras. The top two are from his 1950s horror work and the bottom one comes from his current stuff. There's definitely a difference here stylistically but the general characteristics are there. I started the "Drawing Ditko Faces" during #inktober. I'm now back to it trying to find out what makes these faces so recognizable. The more I draw them the more they puzzle me. Certain aspects just defy explanation, others seem just patently wrong.
