Yeah, it's just weird. But I'm assuming writers who write those kinds of fics are just on the younger side (which is not a bad thing). When I was starting to write, my fics didn't look like they were written by an adult either. Your writing style matures with you.

I like comments that I think other authors take as backhanded. Mostly "I don't usually read [x trope/fix type/so on], but yours caught my eye," type comments. Bc yeah same. This fic I'm writing isn't quite something I would usually have read before this either, but I'm glad that it's still drawing in readers who read similarly to how I do in that regard.
Comments that gently poke for updates/ask about abandonment too! I lose track of time in a major way, and they're helpful/measure if people still want to see what is next. Sorry it's been so long guys; thanks for the reminder, yk?

I think its Porn Without Plot, but see: Porn WITH Plot ALSO abbreviates to pwp. And every time i see it i have to take a moment to scan the other tags to see if they listed the full tag somewhere

I wish people wrote more racially ambiguous. Whenever a character is black there’s only black reader fan fiction for them, and when some characters are white it’s not very inclusive of certain hair types and etc. And I don’t wanna read fan fiction and have my ‘chocolatey nipples’ mentioned, I just wanna read something racially ambiguous

okay so like a month ago i had a Moment and wrote about half an omo fic? like all in one night. and i have not regained whatever possessed me. so its just sitting there. in my google drive. mocking me. my inner puritan has hands so im not strong enough to finish in my current state of mind, but i would like to finish it and put it out there because theres nothing of This Particular Kink on ao3 for this fandom specifically and if i want it surely someone else does. (if nothing else theres at least one person ive seen on furaffinity who would be interested.) and its not like i can pass it on to somebody else because im simply too prideful for that, plus theres no way in hell i would show anybody the draft (and also i would never make anyone do it for free). and its just. ough the misery. the hubris. my work haunts me. like victor frankenstein or some shit. and im sorry for the really long ramble but it's truly weighing on me and i truly needed to use this as a confessional here
