Top 16 best KPDH fanfics
The people have spoken once again, and I must deliver. This list will include fics that are completed and fics that are still being actively updated. These are my personal thoughts on these fanfics, and it's ok if you disagree with some of their placements. There is no tolerance for hating Rujinu/polytrix here. Please be respectful of people's ships.

1."Two's Company (But They want a crowd)" By TossLotsofsauce: If you don't know about this fic, are you really even in the fandom?? Basically, this fic is about Rumi moving into Mira and Zoey's apartment, and Rumi falls in Love with them. Grab tissues for chapter 26, you WILL need them, don't say I didn't warn you. 2. "For Lovers who hesitate". By sgalcholicwriter. The synopsis is: Jinu serves as a stoic and devoted grim reaper—tasked with helping the dead find peace. But when he's assigned to escort a terminally ill soul, he discovers it's his lover from a past life and the one person he never truly let go of. 3. "A broken soul trapped in the nastiest shell(How can you sleep or live with yourself?) by a_bird_who_is_like_no_other. Since I can't really describe the summary for this fic, I'm going to leave the comment I left for the writer on here instead:
When I say this is the best Kpop demon hunter fanfic I have ever laid my eyes upon on I mean it. This piece of work right here is the definition of art. Not only did you add on to what we, the readers and viewers, already know, but you also made it a prequel fic, which I still see as canon in many ways. The girls' voices shine through as if you were in the writing room with the story writers as they were creating them. This is not a fic I will be reading once, oh no, this is a fic that will find me on my saddest days and remind me that there is still much more to give to this world. I'm even scared to read the next chapter because you write so well, and I feel like I'm right there experiencing this with the girls. But I would personally read whatever work you publish, for the simple fact that this fic has left me at a loss for words for how good it is. 4 . "The Sun, The Moon, and all the peaks between" by gayheroine. This fic is Zoey letting herself be loved by Mira. It takes a while for them to start dating, but it's so beautiful and well done. 5. "Color me in" by starrclipse. In this fic, Mira and Zoey try to figure out what Rumi's pattern color means. They go through this long list of what each color might mean, and the last chapter is made me laugh out loud really hard, tugged on my heartstrings a little too. 6. "Tangled as these sheets" by tenderlumberjack. This fic personally lives in my mind rent free but hey, who's checking? This is a Zoey-centered fic where she leaves the girls because she couldn't take them fighting all the time anymore. You heard it here first, folks: THESE GIRLS ARE FIGHTINGGG IN THIS FIC. 7. "Let Me pretend that you're mine" by peachiiibuniii. Fake Dating Rujinu fic. They're both idols, and they're pretending to date for the public eye. 8. "The unchanging polaris" by arsonide. The plot of this fic is: Mira, Rumi, and Zoey get caught in the middle of their fans' shipping war—but maybe one ship in particular has more substance than the others. If you haven't read it, please go and read it. It made me laugh, cry, and cry some more at the end. (Happy tears)
9. "I need you" by arttcait. Another Zoemira fic!! This one's about when Zoey leaves for a few months during Huntrix's hiatus, and let's just say Mira doesn't take it too well. 10. "Act of Innocence" by justapoet. Calling all my Rujinu shippers, if you want to cry over Jinu's death again and then simp over this 400 ex-demon, this fic is for you!! 12. "desiderium" by youngchopsticks. This fic starts off with Zoemira and then ends with Ploytrix. Their all in college and slowly but surely falling in love with each other. 14." A pink colored heart forecast" by wilhemcowboy. This is a Mira-centered fic where Mira goes to Celine to get permission to date Zoey and Rumi. 15. "The Slow-Burn bet off" by Xunai. High school seniors Rumi and Jinu have everyone betting on when they will date. This fic also has zoemystery and miromabby. 16. "The Warmth Goes with Him" by lyctors. Truthfully, this fic shouldn't be at 16 because of how good the writing is. This is a Rumi-centered fic(Rumi stans, I got you always) where she believes that no one will be able to love her. Guess who changes that?? Jinu, everyone, woo hoo. Yes, we're ending this list with Rujinu so that everyone gets their fair share of ships.
