Fic Updates This Week

I’ve been writing all weekend, just not Long Live Rock or Pour Some Sugar On Me. No, a brand new Bughead fic, Candy Shop, ate my brain. Why? Who knows. My muse is a shady and fickle bitch.

Pour Some Sugar On Me:  No update this coming week. This WIP will be on hiatus until Long Live Rock is complete and posted.

Long Live Rock: The next chapter will be posted very late this evening or Monday morning, depending on your time zone. I’m wrapping up Long Live Rock and intend to have the four remaining chapters all posted by the end of next week. If you have a burning question about Long Live Rock, feel free to hit me up in my ask box.

Candy Shop: This new four chapter long Bughead fic will be posted as a complete series this week.  If I get a very nicely worded ask, I will post a spoiler or two.

Deleted Scene- PSSOM

FP met Jughead for dinner at Pop’s.

Jughead raised his eyebrows. “So, I heard a very interesting new rumor today at school.”

“Do tell.”

Jughead smiled. “I heard that the boss got himself a new girlfriend.”

FP frowned. “And who exactly told you that?”

“Most of my friends at South Side have a parent in the gang, you know that.”

“I’m surprised that any of them have the balls to gossip about my personal business,” said FP crisply.

“You’re pissed.” Jughead leaned back and gave him an assessing look. “If it was bullshit, you’d just laugh it off.”

“It’s not your business,” said FP.

“What about Mom?”

“She sent me divorce papers. I signed them and sent them back. It’s done.”

“Well, how do you feel about that?” Jughead asked.

“I don’t want to talk about my feelings,” said FP. “Let it be.”

Jughead ate a french fry. “So, Cherry is a stripper kind of name. Is she a stripper? No judgment. Just curious.”

“Shut your face and eat your burger, Jughead Jones.”

* Cheryl tells FP why she was at the police station the night he was released

* Betty and Jughead are asking some pointed questions; it would appear that Nancy Drew and Her Hardy Boy are sleuthing again
