Star Wars Sequel Mini-Rant!

Why didn’t they give Luke a kid?!  He’s such a kind, caring person--he would be a great dad!  Even if the kid wasn’t Old Canon Ben (who I loved, btw).  And please note having a kid wouldn’t automatically make him straight--I don’t personally have a headcanon for Luke’s sexuality (love both Luke/Mara and Luke/Bodhi and even single dad Luke).

They would have had the perfect actor, Richard Davies (left)!  And we know from his work on Offspring that he nails that humor/emotion/family drama triad that is Star Wars!

But no.  *sighs*
