I'd say people are excited for thew new system because of what the rumors have been saying and people want all consoles to succeed.

You have to admit that both Awakening and Fates are the more popular titles of the franchise especially since Awakening saved the franchise from being potentially dormant as other series. To Intelligent Systems it makes sense to cater to the audience that has made Fire Emblem successful recently. That said I'm certain Intelligent Systems will also cater to the classic FE fans with characters from the older titles.
i can only hope but at the same time i want to remove awakening and fates from existence

Console hands down, PCs are good for emulation. But I get too distracted on my computer and use it for things like watching videos and writing.
