Well, this was... just fantastic. Peggy was lost. Truly lost and she had no idea where she was - damn the wilderness. She’d been heading for Urga, which she had definitely gotten to, yet she just could find her way to the nearest town.
She was sure she’d seen the same tree five times over, and as she trekked the path again, nose in her map, she let out a growl when she saw the same tree again.
“What am I doin’ wrong here?” she snapped at herself, burying her nose further into the map as though it would help. However, and just her luck, Peggy felt her boot snag on something on the ground. A tree stump or something? She didn’t know, she hadn’t the time to look. Instead she was letting out a yelp, arms spreading to protect herself from the fall.
What pissed her off the most was the god awful sound of paper tearing.
Face planting the floor had lead to her map being in two, and as Peggy collected herself, moving to sit cross-legged on the ground, she let out an almighty huff.
“You have got to be kiddin’ me...” she groaned, her hat wonky on her head. Not to mention she’d torn her dungarees again, accompanied by a small graze on her knee.
“Oh for... the love of all things Wixen.” Hissed Peggy, remaining sat there in a huff.
