Happy 634th Anniversary, Dreamling! 🏳️🌈
The Miyazawa Mokei Exhibition just got through, and among a bunch of cool new statue reveals we got some exciting news from the Figure Complex Amazing Yamaguchi line. Wonder Woman is apparently next, looking as dynamic a fusion of comic and anime sensibilities as the rest, but more surprising were the further reveals: Keeping with the superhero theme but going in a thoroughly unexpected direction, Midoriya and All Might from a little serious you may have heard of called My Hero Academia will be getting figures in the line! This is sure to be some seriously crowd-pleasing news, and even though I’m not a fan of the series myself, I can see the dynamism and personality of the designs represented well already in these first ones they’re showing off. This is a pretty big score of a license for the folks behind this line, and I trust them to make some pretty cool-looking toys using it.
