Overseer is an outcode Sans that appeared in the void one day and was tasked with making sure the AUs ran properly, this includes:
-repairing anomalies which can include small things like an out of place bush, items appearing where they shouldn’t, to bigger problems like characters who shouldn’t exist.
-stories going in their proper direction, he can’t have Murder deviating from killing the residents of the underground! Then there’d be no story!
-keep AU codes stable, this is especially apparent in AUs that no longer have a creator as they have no creativity to keep them running.
And various other smaller tasks that he hated doing.
One day, he decided to create himself an assistant, one that could do all that busy work he hates and help him with stabilizing creator-less AUs which then began Project Remedy.
Project Remedy was Overseer’s various attempts at creating himself an assistant, the first three failed and were properly dealt with while the 4th one was perfect and remains his assistant to this day.
All would’ve been well for him, if the first failure didn’t escape where he contained her.
